Carlsbad teen survives encounter with hit-and-run driver Tuesday
According to Carlsbad Police Department Lt. Jennifer Moyers, officers were called to the scene about 4 p.m. Tuesday in response to a hit-and-run that occurred at the corner of Thomas and Edwards streets.Full Story

So did this teen open the door into traffic? Did it hit his Jeep? Was there damage on the other SUV? I need to know these things if I'm going to collect the $1000 bounty. Boy who got hit, please help with these small details that were not printing in your reply to the paper. Like the prior poster indicated, was this drug related? Please confirm.

OMG people, please. I bet the person driving did not pay attention to what he or she was doing. When he was at ER i imagine they did drug tests on him and would have said something.

Indeed they did to the standard drug tests. I work the ER and the kid is just fine.
