CPD Trigger happy, taser loving, over the top cops.
At walmart during BlackFriday I overheard two police officers laughing and kidding around saying, "we should have brought our tasers, we would have been done shopping by now".

Soon enough the CPD will be under federal investigation for overkill and unnecessary assault.

Are you a MORON? He shot at officers in Roswell. He had stated he was NEVER going back to prison. In this case, he rammed a police car with his SUV. The officer(s) were completely justified in their actions. If you don't like it....move to Juarez, you jerk.

People like you are always on here posting. Which part of the process did you fail? When you applied to be an Officer did you fail the physical? Perhaps you got past the physical and made it all the way to the written test. I can imagine your shock when you opened the test and your 4th grade education kicked into gear and you read your first question. Sorry you couldn't make the cut!

Jeff, while he may have failed some of those parts of the test, you overlooked the big one TriggerHappy failed: the PSYCH exam. The deceased fired dozens of rounds at multiple cops in several cities, injuring at least one, all while stating he'd never be taken alive THIS time (so it's not like this is a first offense) and risked who knows how many civilian lives while doing all of this - not to mention while running from the cops in his big old SUV, glad no one got in his way!- but TriggerHappy is confused about who the bad guy is? Even Jethro Bodine with his somewhat lacking education would get this equation right, so in addition to these other problems you mention that TH has, he's also just plain psycho. And lacking compassion, common-sense, oh, and probably courage. Don't you often find that the loud mouth on the sidelines doesn't have the guts to get in the game? TriggerHappy - go away and take your stupid opinion with you.

Oh yeah, what you write REALLY made sense. THEY WERE KIDDING! Obviously you NEVER lived with a cop! Can the cops joke or is THAT a crime of its self? I guess if you had said if you ran people over with a cart, you would have been done shopping by now, that YOU would be investigated for assault with intent injury soon huh? Triggerhappy, maybe you need to trigger something else and leave the cops alone. You must be one of those cop haters till someone is trying to kill your as&!!! Well, you want to talk shyt, I HOPE when you need that officer and only for YOUR SELF, that no one gets there fast enough because you are a worthless idiot for posting something so damn stupid! My dad, uncle, cousins, friends, and more family are in the law enforcement, so you can go F yourself for being so damn STUPID!

Another North Side Locos gang member from Artesia learned life or should I say death the hard way. Can't say I miss this idiot after all he shot some innocent people in Artesia back in the late 90's. Shooting at officers is never a smart thing. He even has family in law enforcement and some of the best officers I know in Shane Baker and Josh Baker.

Well now the kin officers can rest knowing their relative wont be causing any more trouble and focus on more problems that need to be handled and they will be less embarrassed.

Yeah, they just saved the tax payers a lot of money. This needs to happen more often in order to save more jail space also.

I have known the bondsman for quite some time. He has a reputation for finding everyone he looks for, and an even better reputation for having his wanted clients to walk into his office and turning themselves in. God bless the officers who had to stand in harm's way and take a life. It was a necessary evil to protect themselves and probably other members of the community. Jim, I know you put everything you had into finding this guy, and you guys did a great job. I have no idea how you find a fugitive that is hiding and running to the degree he was, and had made a comment he was "never going back to prison," and would go out in a "blaze of glory." Impressive work, Jim, and we're proud of you. It was an intuitive call you made to involve law enforcement.

Actually, I think these are the same bondsmen who were able to find a suspect that neither Roswell PD, the U.S. Marshal Service, the FBI, Chaves County Sheriff's Department, Artesia P.D., New Mexico State Police, Eddy County Sheriff's Department and Carlsbad PD were able to find. Must be the beer, or it could be absolutely fine work by an extremely competent organization.

Who knows? If they are, what difference does it make to this article, or this situation?

You have absolutely NO respect for the CPD. Truly sad! These guys laid their lives on the line, doing what they're paid to do, PROTECT & SERVE!!!!! And they did just that!!! You have NO idea what they go through during situations like this!!!
