First I am going to start with this; EVERYONE AS SKELETONS IN THEIR CLOSET! No one is perfect.

Second, most of the people on here that are typing, go back to school and learn how to type and spell!

Third, NONE of you know the truth about any of this. Only the people that were/are involved known all of the facts. To sit there and accuse someone of something that is hear say?? SHAME ON YOU. People need to get a life and grow up and start trying to help instead of sitting there and pointing fingers. Are any of you using the BFPD website and/or tip line to give the officers information? Probably not, you are just going to sit here and complain about what they are NOT doing instead of what they are doing. Maybe a little positive feedback instead of concentrating on the negative.

Time after time I see people on here running their mouths about their local police department (s) and never saying anything good about them.

The past is the past, lets try to move forward and stop looking and comparing everything to the past. I can say that I trust almost all of the people that work at the Bellows Falls PD and know that they do try their hardest 99% of the time. Have faith in your local law enforcement and show your support, don’t run them into the ground!

This is such a shame, to ANY REPORTER, if you let me know, I would be more than happy to speak to you about some 'TRUTHS", What about Family members and how they are affected by "crude untruths"!!, I can tell you!!, most likely though, you would not want to hear them. Believe me I KNOW excatly what I know and whould be talking about!!. How dare you say shame on another unless you know ALL the facts!!.. I will not live in the shame of C.F's shame any longer!. Oh an by the way, what has MY contribution been??????, reclaiming a life, and soul that was stolen from me, the rest of my family, we sure could not go the the BFPD,!!!..yes, the past is the past, slowly for those whom were the ones effected. All of those who keep saying shame on you, never again is that going to even be heard by myself, I carried shame that was NOT mine, not any longer, people need to speak up, if it was fear that kept some from doing so sooner, better late, than never!!!, I am NOT MEAN, not that this is anything compared to the other suffering, years ago myself and a few friends went around raising money for when they needed it to install the new 911 system $1,000, not much, but I live each day to not "judge" someone else for what another has done. Oh, in case someone might say this person is filled with hate, guess what, no longer, holding onto all the hurt, fear, shame, and hoping for justice in some way, I learned only holds one back from moving forward...I know each one of us, to someone will have to answer to in the end. Karma, yes, for those who have wronged others, the same for those who live their lives not just thinking of themselves, even if it's to smile at a stranger who walks by, you may not even know how much that simple jester could have brought to them. Reporter, again, somehow let me know...I will give FACTS, if some continue to close their eyes and not read, then so be it, but truths need to be told, need to be heard.

Correction please, it seems like you are filled with a lot of hate. I'm not sure what it is you did but it sounds like something pretty bad. You should be ashamed.

when it came time to account for all expenditures where was this figured in? this is the 2nd time in 2 years i have heard of misspent or misallocated funds several months after budgets are done.

I am the publisher of YourClaremontPress.com and I have been sent two Freedom of Information act requests to Police Chief Ron Lake. I have requested full and complete police logs. When their scanners were not encrypted we would hear about police activity and we reported the breaking news. Then we would get the police logs and the logs were empty of these incidents. In fact, his department just threw together a police log. He even admitted to me in my first conversation with him on the telephone that he doesn't log every call that comes in from residents. I received a letter from the Bellows Falls attorney advising me that Bellows Falls Police Department will not be releasing the police logs to me or any other media outlet. In fact, we are the only media outlet demanding this information. Everything I read in forums such as this and through emails sent to me, there may be corruption in the Bellows Falls Police Department. Why do all the other police agencies willingly send me the police logs, yet BFPD hired their lawyer, spent public funds, to draft up a letter to deny my FOIA request? I am only doing this for the public. Let's do this now and publicize the corruption of the BFPD if this is the reason they want to keep their information from you, the public. The new owner of the Eagle Times is Sample News from PENNSYLVANIA. I grew up in Claremont and graduated from Stevens High School which is in Claremont. I have family in the local community. My company launched YourClaremontPress.com FIVE days after the Eagle closed their doors. Our newspaper is not without news and provides BREAKING news as it is happening many times during the week. Why limit coverage to the PD. The current financial officers for the school district are engaged in more chicanery than Lake. Hundreds of thousands of dollars held in secret accounts, bond vote dishonesty, budget deficits hidden away etc.The Reformer reporter will keep giving these guys a free pass since his wife works for them in one of the schools. If you have an investigative reporter who is worth any salt, send them in for a closer look there too.Just watch some of the Rock. school board meetings on the local access TV (or its website) and look at our last two town reports from the school department.

So Sad that so many still for whatever reasons are afraid to know that there are people,(and it doesn't mean anything where they live and may invesagate or report from), that do want truths and facts to be known.

I have facts to back upy statement about the alleged corruption in all levels of Bellows Falls government and the stories will be printed. Right now the BFPD is the only community not providing police logs. As a resident of Bellows Falls you should be VERY concerned. What is the BFPD trying to hide? Today in YCP we have two police logs published. Take a look to see that these agencies want to keep the public informed! YourClaremontPress com will always publish the truth!
Why aren't more people using their real names in this forum? I can't take anyone's opinion seriously when they remain anonymous.
