As I told Frank, Republicans are not going to be any different, believe me. Ignorance and bigotry is rampant in both parties. Jon Stewart wonders aloud on The Daily Show: How did Sen. Hillary Clinton beat Sen. Barack Obama so easily in West Virginia's Democratic primary? Was it the state's "working-class base?" The Clintons' hard campaigning? Stewart suggests that something else was clearly at work as he airs clips of West Virginia voters referring to racial troubles and Obama's middle name Hussein." http://rawstory.com/news/2008/West_Virginia_e... I did not watch the "Dailey Show" because they are biased for ratings. Anything that will get them a better rating will be their "thing" for the day. Clips that would promote the point(s) they was trying to make and if you want to buy his ideas, it is fact to you - to others it is "bunk". I do hope we do not depend on comedians and pundits for information to help us determine the next leader of our country. The bottom line is hat the one that we select will be only as good as the congress we select.

Obama's plan is dialogue ane diplomacy....quite different from the current "Cowboy diplomacy" which is simply arrogance and isolation. How's that working?? Depends how you measure it. Have we been bombed yet? Has Israel? Both of which Ahmajinedad says he will do. Pray tell what would dialogue with Iran's madman consist of? Pretty please, stop building nukes? Throwing Israel under the bus for some inane promise on his part? Now if Obama was going to send the message that if he nukes Israel we'll wipe Iran off the face of the earth, I'd be with him. He won't however, and why on earth give the nut legitimacy by having our president meet with him face to face and provide a propaganda coup for Iran? Maybe he could send Carter since he's accomplished so much by meeting terrorists.

Holographic Doctor wrote: <quoted text> How is 92% of the black vote going to Obama racist? In this context, "racist" would be hatred of white people. How does that vote demonstrate hatred of whites? Clearly, black voters do not hate Hillary, they were just turned on by someone better, and turned off by Bill and Hillary taking them for granted and playing the race card, something THEY did, not Obama. Is there racism in America? Yes, but a lot of it is unconscious, people holding assumptions and beliefs about another "race" that are not true, usually in the form of stereotypes. Senator Obama DOES have to overcome that, but he will never overcome the overt racists, the ones who still have sheets and hoods hanging in their closets. Nobomba has to overcome the race baiters & haters like Rev Jesse, Rev Wrong & Rev Sharpton,Farakan, etc. European-Americans have moved on from race issues along time ago. We have no problems with Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Alan Keyes,(refuse to be victims mentalities)etc & etc. We have problems with the blacks like Michelle O & Co. who have chips on their shoulders, that hate the USA, and bible believing, gun owning, patriotic hardworking, generous black & white americans. Unfortunaltly he has aligned himself with the former.

He will not go to war with Iran for Israels sake. Israel can take care of itself. As I said in a previous note, Israel took out Iraqs nuclear reactor many years ago. They just took out Syrias. And if necessary they'll take out Irans. ALL WITHOUT US MILITARY FORCES. So why don't you just put your anti-semetic and false statements to bed for awhile and join them.

Why Obama "Fellow Republicans, When deciding which candidate is best to now lead our nation, we ask that you consider supporting Senator Barack Obama. The U.S. faces serious challenges that are not being addressed by our political leaders. Elected officials of both sides have found it easier to appease their parties’ fringes to win elections, and media companies choose to shock, amuse and divide us. In the meantime, the problems we face as a nation grow as they are passed on to future generations. We need a leader who can lay the foundations of another American Century—someone who can get past our partisan and ideological divisions, as we strengthen our standing in the world and tackle the challenges we face at home. We need a leader who understands our differences, but who also knows the importance of finding common ground. While we continue to debate and address many issues on which we all have strong opinions—abortion, gay rights, the relationship between church and state, to name a few—we need a leader who can command the support needed to break our government’s paralysis and meet the growing challenges we face as a nation." http://www.republicansforobama.org/...

I don't think it will be racism that will help McCain win.
It will be the combination of the following:
1) Barak's SOCIALIST AGENDA 2) Michelle's MOUTH 3) Rev. Wrong's PREACHING (AKA: B*llSh*t) 4) Barak's QUESTIONABLE ASSOCIATIONS with the radical people:(Wright, Farrakahn, Ayers, Rezko, etc. etc. etc.) 5) Barak has NO REAL SOLUTIONS for any of today's problems...... JUST one word.......C-H-A-N-G-E....whic h means virtually Nothing. 6) Barak's INEXPERIENCE and the fact that he is the most LEFT WING senator in congress.
I am a lifelong Democrat......and I wish I could vote for Obama.......but I will not.
