High unemployment, 50 million Americans with no healthcare, failing banks not seen since HW Bush, and Iraq! Gee, who are those who support Bush, and his 23% approval rating?

Anyone who said that "voting Republican 4 years ago would be good for business" is probably thinking now that they should have never said that.

You'd be surprised that there are probably 2 out of 10 that post here and I'm sure they will be all over us later today. I cannot see how they can support the idiot. I mean, just look around you and see what is going on all over the place and tell me why they even have one ounce of support for Bush. I don't get it either. Of course, the vast majority of Republicans are stuck up snobs and really don't care about anyone else but themselves.

i'll step up!
1) the banks failing is inaccurate, the banks that failed are in trouble because of greed....they made a boat load of money selling sub-prime loans...they then took the money and ran.....how is that Bush's fault?
2)CONGRESS (democrate lead) today is increasing the ceiling for the national debt by 800 BILLION!!!! is that BUSH's fault too?
3) are any of you people gonna wake up and realize that the man in the oval office has very little control over the economy? the economy is a fluid entity, it changes....year to year, decade to decade.....there are numereous good things about the economy,(not too many in ohio) some industries are thriving!!!! just because your not, does not mean your neighbor isn't......the bigger problem is self regulation.....had people not tried to create a image of themselves, then they wouldn't be loosing their homes!!!! plain and simple

Odd that they failed to mention that their demoncritter controlled congress failed to live up to a single campaign promise, they made before bein' elected into office.

Still trying to figure out why none of you are blaming your local politicians, the federal government has no obligation under the constitution to provide the local and state government jobs, jeez, some of you are really out there with your thinking.

Crock Obambi
'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides,' Obama said.'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.'

I understand that some of those unemployed have had some bad luck. However, I'd be interested to know how much of that 6.2% do not have a valid driver's license or have a felony conviction. Either of those will disqualify you from most jobs.

"People who are unemployed and looking for work need to be creative, figuring out how their skills can be used in different industries, Huff said."

> What they need to do is leave state to somewhere with a better economy. How's that for creative?

Republicans traditionally are the party of well - to - do folks. This can mean filthy rich, but I mean people who own their own homes and land, drive gas guzzlers, have good health insurance, stock options / investment portfolio etc.

Oh, and church on sunday, of course. Faith - based government and all that it portends, i.e. the dawning of a new dark age. Intolerance and inquisition.

Democrats traditionally are the party of the disenfranchised. That would be a lot of us here in Ohio.

Personally I don't think either party really gives two shites about the 'little people'. I mean folks who worry about gas money to get thru the week.

We have no power, we don't matter. Why vote at all? They don't really care about you, and it won't make any difference who wins. Nothing will change except the names.

5.7% unemployment is not high. It is actually relatively low.

Were all the people covered by health insurance when Clinton was President?

Obama is a Post Turtle.

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher, whose hand was caught in a Gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our President. The old rancher said,'Well, ya know, Obama is a 'post turtle'.'
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what is a 'post turtle'? The old rancher said,'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a wooden fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.' The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain:
'You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he is up there, and you just wonder what kind of a dumb *ss put him up there to begin with.

I left your party a long time ago because Bubba sold us out with NAFTA along time ago with that fence sitter Sawyer and this is what we get. We have had Democrats in control of this area for a long time and the jobs have shut down and left because the city hall crowd has to buy another piece of land to sell at below market value. You guys took control of congress and it has got WORSE since then and you blame W? With that all you have is a waffling moslem to toss at us to vote for that is nothing short of Carter the sequel and you wonder why he's in a dead heat with McCain? Gimme a break, it's you guys that have to get real.
You needed Hillary but you didn't get her this time.

No insurance does not mean no healthcare. Get it straight. Most of these 50 million are covered under some govt. program.

What are the specific numbers to back up your claim George? Tell us precisely what percentage of 50 million uninsured Americans are covered under govt. programs and your sources. Thank you

Maybe it's because the veto king is sitting in the white house.
