I bet Hoover is PO'd and Robart is loving every minute of it.

Chief Justice Moyer is also on the war path against mayors courts. Guess what? Most mayors courts don't gouge the people as bad as municipal courts. Their court costs are like $50-70. The Falss is $130. Amazing.

And have you seen the HUGE courthouse Judge Hoover is building?

The same thing happened to me. I got a speeding ticket, which I deserved but the actual fine was $50.00 when I went to pay it, they charged $100.00 in court costs!!! Actually, I think it was more. I asked if I could make 2 payments on it and they said "no." I can't stand Judge Kim Hoover. I witnessed him in court and how he talks to people. He's a JERK. I hope something is done to stop him from robbing us blind!!!!

and to think.... the government just saved us a few weeks back from those thieves they call payday loans...... their reason.... the fees were too high.... hmmmm..... double standard?

Cuyahoga Falls isn't that bad. Wait until it gets to Stow. You'll be able to buy shares in the court and it will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Chief Moyer's main gripe about Mayor's Courts is that he sees it as a conflict of interest on the part of the Mayor. Plus, majority of Mayors is not Judges nor have any legal experience whatsoever. I got a ticket for a not a complete stop at a stop sign in the Falls -$150.00 - crazy - I said I did make a complete stop and fought it and took it to court and ended up paying $10.00 less - big woop!

It sounds like this judge needs to be taught a lesson.

The good people of Hoover court beware. It ain't over yet. This is only the beginning of his huge court taxes. Klinger the bailiff, should be getting another raise soon. This would make his total about a 82% pay raise. Any of you had raises like this in your five years of being employeed? He makes more money than most public officials at his rate of earnings. Why not he has his private accountant wife Carol Klinger to keep those raises coming. Carol makes sure she takes her orders from both Cheryl and Kim Hoover. If your mad and not wanting to take this any more call Hoover at home since you can't seem to reach Klinger at the office. Always dodging the questions those two.

oh , so this is how it goes if our allready squeazed government won't give money to a judge for a new building, then we'll just take it. sounds pretty brazen to me. a note to our governing bodys , who do you think you are!!?? soon the day is to come with much civil unrest.people get ready for another civil war.this judge and other entities need fired!

We could easily get back at courts like this if everybody fought their tickets. By law, they cannot charge you more in court costs or fines for excercising your constitutional right to have your day in court. I know from experience you can drag a routine traffic ticket into 5 appearances. As an added bonus, they will usually drop the points if you go away.

And our "elected" government officials wonder why the public is so distrustful and angry. Why do these people keep getting re-elected and appointed in the first place is beyond me.

As the so called judge says if your not guilty? Well he's guilty of doing whatever he wants on the backs of the people that pay his huge salary and health care etc.

Most mayors court now have magistrates who are lawyers. Fairlawn, Richfield, Norton, Boston Heights, Peninsula, Doylestown, for example.

Of course if you add up all that time you miss from work to go to court, is it really worth it? I just try to be as careful as possible to avoid tickets all together. I used to be bad with getting them a long time ago, but in the last 6 years, I have only gotten 1.

And so goes our state and federal governments. We are not living in a country that resembles what our forefathers intended. Liberal philosophies via mostly the democrat party but also republican politicians share the blame- as well as an apathetic, misinformed, ignorant, propagandized, and immoral public….Truly time for a revolution…

What I am really surprised about is that Hoover doesn't charge the people who come to court cases PSL's to help pay for his new palace.....

It's the Falls, baby. That's how they roll. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
