London, Mar 8: Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has hailed Barcelona striker Lionel Messi as the best striker ever to grace the game of football following his five goal rampage against German side Bayern Leverkusen in the second leg of the pre-quarterfinals of Champions League at Nou Camp.
