For the last three or so years, Samuel Etoo has been, to many of us the world's best player. His goal scoring prowess has been, and still is unequaled. Is any thing short of racism keeping him from being declared the FIFA world player of the year?

I think in this year there is lot to come.Still there are two months and we will watch world cup qualifiers playoffs and some friendly matches.Also in uefa champions league there are four matches to come to conclude group matches.But i think David Villa, Steven Gerrard, Luis Fabiano and Christiano Ronaldo will be the best Players of the year 2009. Kaka and Ballak will be the other great players of the year 2009 in football.

Fifa should give first priority to international matches, then the continental club league like champions league of europe, copa libertadores etc and the 3rd priority should be given to domestic leagues and fourth priority to domestic cups like fa cup, copa derlay copa do brasil etc.

In my opinion the performances in international football matches should be the first priority foe selecting fifa player of the year.

i want to watch that fifa should give that man fifa player of year award who did best best in the international matches.

Not only me but many of the world football fans think that a club starting with more than 7 or 8 foreign players in a mtch is not good.

FIFA should ban this thing.Any club can play with only 4 players maximam in the home ground in domestic league and with 5 players in away from home ground in domestic league and in the continetal club leagues like UEFA champion league, copa libartoderis and afc asian cup and similarly african champions league, all clubs should be given permision to start its tea with 5 foreign players.

I think in this year if i think about the performances of footballers in 2009, then Argentina superstar Messi, Brazilian superstars KaKa & Fabiano, Portugeese player Christiano Ronaldo, English team stars Rooney & Terry, Spanish superstar Xavi & David Villa, African superstar like Drogba (Ivory Cost), Etto (Cameron), Esien (Chelsea) are the best players, But Iker Cassilas of Spain & Buffon of Italy did great job in Goal Keeping. This was the year of Attacking and Midfield players.

All of these superstars did great job in International as well as in club matches.

in 5 best players nominees no doubt kaka, cristiano & messi are the 3 best. iniesta & xavi did well but not extra ordinary in 2009-2010 in spanish league they are well and there are much better players like david villa, terry, etto, drogba, essien, rio ferdinand.

my vote for fifa player of the year is with david villa because he scored 8 goals in international matches out of whicj 7 is scored in fifa world cup qualifying matches, he scored 11 goals in this season in just 13 games for vallencia and has scored more than 10 goals in la liga and spanish cup in the 2nd half of last season.

but in kaka, messi & cristiano i think i should wait for the end of year, now till to date 10th december 2009, cristiano & messi are the best.

I think the decession of Slap Blatter than every match should give us decession to get winnier & loser. If match goes tie, then match should be decided on penalty shoot out, the 11th penalty should be sudden death penalty, if some one misses it, his or her team will lose, and if he or she scores the team will win

I think decession MR. Slap blatter to decide evry match with penalty shoot out if match goes tie. But i have a point of view that if match goes tie, both teams will get 1 point. The team which will win match on penalty will get 2 point. Hope that Fifa will give me reply about this point of view.
