Maradona vs Ronaldinho

Although I am a true Brazilian Fan 100%, but I really can't say that Ronaldihno is better than Maradona. Maradona remains one of the best ever and he is always there to represent his country, but Ronaldinho ..... a few mill made him change and he has become a European slave player. Maradona is by far a better player than Ronaldihno

You may be right about Maradona versus Ronaldinho,but, there's no way anybody can say Maradona is superior than PELE (If Pele is the king and Maradona is the "God" of football, let me ask you this: Did Pele need a "hand of god" goal in his career????? and also: Is there a "God" as drug addict as Maradona in the history of football???)
A "king" or "God" of any sport conducts himself in such a manner in both the field and out of it, giving a good example to the youth and kids all the time and in that aspect Pele is the true sportsman of the 20th century.
I'll give Maradona his credit (he was fantastic!!!!) but there's no way he is (or was) superior than Pele.
And one thing that makes him "step down" in the "scale" of greatest players ever in the history of football is his arrogancy and lack of humility. No doubt about it PELE RULES!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no!!!!!!!! PELE is PELE. Maradona or not we can compare this GOD given creature to Maradona. PELE will go down as the BEST EVER til the end of this earth.

Pele looks good on the paper, 1281goals and three world cup champion title in his career. But 1281 goals include about 400 hundred goals from friendly game which will not count in today players' statistics. There are 470 goals from Brizal State league. Brizal didn't have national wide league until 1966. The level of the competition has no comparition with Italy League. Pele played in the state level league in the most of his career. You can figure out why he can score so much goals. His three world cup title from 1958, 1962, 1970. He play three matchs in 1958, 2 matchs in 1962 and didn't recieve a metal, all matchs in 1970. He is not a best scorer in any of the three World cup. His best goal is at 1958 final which is nothing compare to what maradona did in the world cup. Have any of you watch the full game of 1958, 1962, 1970 world cup? Not the highlight. 1958's world cup is like today's ameture game. Pele is just a striker. He didn't creat the play, he just finished the play which like Ronaldo. He is not an as important player as maradona in the league. Pele got more credit for what he did off the pitch. But Maradona lost some credits for his behavior off the pitch. That makes Pele looks better than Maradona.

Agreed with a lot of that except....Santos did win the world club cup which included Euro clubs.
And you mentioned Italy well his clever little backheal for the forth goal...that's right fourth goal against Italy in the 70 worldcup final was a beauty.

Also you might have missed a lot of Pele's club play for Santos....Maradona got more press.
In the end though they played different positions.

Just to make this discussion even more absurd I will like to say that Garrincha was better than Pele or Maradona.........by the way no one is really even talking about poor Ronaldinho.
