I have nothing against Mexicans at all, and in fact have many friends that are Mexican. Still doesn't mean that the US should celebrate another nation's holidays. We don't celebrate Canadian holidays do we? We have many Canadians living in the US, but we don't go around celebrating their holidays. Or Russia or Norway or any other nation's holidays (and no Christmas doesn't count lol). So why do we celebrate Mexican holidays? We are not Mexico lol. We are the United States. Celebrate in your home or go out to a restaurant or have friends over, whatever... but that should be the extent of it. Not parades and town's hosting celebrations of holiday's that the town isn't even a part of.
