There really is competition in pairs at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Despite two mistakes, Rena Inoue and John Baldwin won the short program Wednesday night with a personal-best 62.73 points.

I think it is great for them. I wonder, how did they accomplish doing the first thrown triple axel, of which, no Pairs has seems to have done before them?

Looks like they have taken the "untoachable masteries" a step futher, than their Russian rivals. Boy, desire can produce any dream. The thrown triple axel is always going to be Inoune-Baldwin tradmarked move, like the Beillman's spin is Denise Beillman, of Swizterland. Some can take the masteries a step futher, with any COACH.(more later)
