The real reason SF has a sanctuary policy is to make low cost undocumented alien slave labor more easily available to the big boys who provide political contributions to SF City Hall. However since obviously SF can't openly admit that and can't openly state that, therefore as a result its sanctuary policy has also been somewhat modified and expanded by various special interest groups.

As far as the fact that the federal govt did not deport Ramos, it has various customs, and including that: one, it does not normally go into churches to seize undocumented aliens who have been symbolically granted "sanctuary" by a church; and two, in general, it pretty much ignores trafficking in undocumented aliens and related situations in the People's Republic of San Francisco, altho it will often seize them and deport them if it catches them in other cities.

How many more innocent Americans need to be killed before the government will step in and do something to control illegal immmigration? The Feds need to put a stop to all states who have these sanctuary cities. Illegal immigration is illegal. I don't care how nice the person is, how often they go to church, how much they contribute to the community. It means nothing because anyone here illegally has already broken at least one law and should be punished (deported) accordingly.

If I were a family member I would sue the city of San Francisco and the Mayor for failing to protect and serve the public. Remember the mayor swore an oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States of America and the State of California, that would include federal, state and local laws. He allowed person bias to dictate what laws the city would observe. Sure seems like he has not followed the oath and allowed innocent citizens to be killed by his inaction.

I think the People of California deserve no sympathy. If they want to protect illegal aliens let them. California needs to be fenced with border patrol check points preventing Californians from entering the rest of the United States. It is apparent that the state has some sort of contagious mental disorder that prevents the people of California from recognizing right from wrong.

I'm disgusted. That's why I moved out of San Francisco. The citizens and the politicians have gone to far. San Francisco needs a new revolution; one that will overturn the demented and dangerous policies they've been implementing since the 60's.

Hemet, your statement makes sense. Put these fences you suggest around SF, Santa Cruz, and Berkeley. This solves 90% of the problem.

Besides Cuba and China, the above cities are the only other true communist governments left.

I doubt San Francisco will ever return to reality,
best hope is for ICE to increase it's presence in SF, it dont need SFPD to get the job done, just bring more agents and instead of taking the illegals to 850 Bryant, just have them flown to dentention centers on the border.

I cant even walk down Mission street without getting the dirty looks, pisses me off considering that I'm in my own country that's been taken over by invaders at the blessing of city hall officials.

What! we let a convicted felon run loose because San Francisco is proud to be a Sanctuary City and he kills three American citizens. The mayor needs to spend some time in prison with this animal.

This was more than just a brutal slaughter, it was also a hate crime. There was virtually no reason for it, they never even made eye contact. They were simply murdered because of who they are.

The death penalty is certainly appropriate and the Mayor / City Council must be held accountable. This animal should have been deported twice. The Mayor is directly responsible for their deaths.

I have seen this story all over the news. The news showed his mother, I feel so sad for her to loose her children. I believe she can sue the city. I would sue the city. I think it was the Mayor or some jerk on the news that blames the federal government for not letting the illegals in and making them have to hide or something in that manor. I only seen a little on it. My state has added new laws that make it hard to be here if you are illegal. No free services, no Id's No ownership of anything. They will even take your car if they find you are illegal and get caught driving. I love these new laws.

Remember that not all the people there voted for the scum bags that run the city's. There are good people in that state and they hate this just as much as any of us.

Just one of many examples how our screwed-up board of supervisors allow stupid legislation to creep through. Really have you met the bunch? Most of them give you the impression that they should be in the mental ward wing of some hospital rather than in a position of such responsibility.

Yet another tribute to their stupidity.

Gavin Newsom is a disgusting piece of work, not only did he cheat on his wife WITH MEN in toilets, he crapped on the American citizen. This moron should be deported to mexico or at least have his mansion loaded with illegals so the limousine liberal elite can experience the current " American experience" ..

That smarmy Newsome creature in his Pacific Heights mansion and his 24hr security team hasn't a clue. Let him walk the wharf, GG , or any city park, for that matter.

Watching SF go from "The City" I loved so much growing up to a cesspool of humanity has been heartbreaking. Thanks to the extremist mayors and supervisors over the past few decades, especially Brown and Newsome, this beautiful and yes, full of itself (with good reason) gracious city, was hijacked by every nutball group around.

And more than the officials, we have no one to blame but ourselves, for being too timid to stand up and risk the "intolerant" label. There are just some things that we need to be intolerant of, like gang members from other countries roaming our streets.
