Because his script from massresistance and Americans for the truth (ha!) about Homosexuality tells him to think and say that. Gary isn't intelligent enough on his own to ponder the issues. He's merely a parrot. You can take any of his "talking points" and go find them directly tied to mass resistance or AFTTAH.

When you have a chance, you should check out AFTTAH. For an anti-gay website, they sure do seem to love tittilating pictures!! It's a website that is perfect for every little self loathing closet queer like Gary. They can be on it all day long!! I'm sure they have an entire staff that sits around googling all things gay all day long until they are able to find that special article or picture that gives them a boner, then they pass it on to the rest of the "group" via their website!!

Did your partner finally explain it to you?? He/she didn't do a very good job. You should have shut up after the first sentence. The laws do NOT discriminate against any group. If the law says marriage is between a man and a womann that is the law whether you are gay straight or just a plain moron as yourself. If you don't like the laws here then just go away- better just go away and stop making yourself look so stupid

So far it appears their program consists of hatred of Hispanics, misogyny, war with Iran, repeal of ACA, corporate plutocracy and of course, tax cuts for the rich.
Why would anyone in their right mind cast a vote for these manic wingnuts, who seem dead-set on making our lives pure misery?
Yup you sure changed my mind. I'd much rather support someone that wants to give up on inforcing immigration laws, make me pay for the "I want" losers that don't want to work for their own future, and make it harder for businesses to operate and employ American citizens. Obama made all of you 'wanters' a bunch of promises to get your vote, he didn't do any of them and now he's going to promise it all to you again and you are going to believe him again and vote for him again. Kinda makes you wonder why a state say Iowa, passed a law that allows same sex marriage, after their highest court said that prohibiting same sex marriage was unconstitutional. Huh maybe they are on to something after all.

Iowa's first dealings with same-sex marriage came in 1998, after recent court cases on same-sex unions, starting in Hawaii, found that denying the right to marry to same-sex couples was incompatible with the Equal Protection Clause of the state constitutions of most states. Iowa legislators hurried to pass a local Defense of Marriage Act to prohibit marriage between gay and lesbian couples to avoid a similar court challenge.

In 2005, Lambda Legal filed a lawsuit on behalf of six Polk County same-sex couples and their children who were denied marriage licenses in Iowa, arguing that this denial violated the liberty and equal protection clauses in the state constitution. In 2007, the Polk County District Court ruled in favor of the couples, prompting the county to appeal to the Iowa Supreme Court.[2] On April 3, 2009, the Iowa Supreme Court unanimously upheld the District Court's ruling holding that there was no important governmental interest in denying citizens marriage licenses based on their sexual orientation. Licenses were originally to be available 21 days after the ruling, on April 24, but the availability of licenses was subsequently postponed until April 27 due to a Furlough day.[1]

In other words they will continue the irresponsible, party first-country last temper tantrum that they have been throwing since Barak Obama was elected president.
What a sad sight this is as the nations needs burn while the Republican Nero's fiddle away and stomp their feet.
What a waste of taxpayer money and federal government time and effort this idiotic vote is.
What a collection of pathetic sore losers the contemporary Republican Party is.
ObamaCare would not got as far as it did if the truth was told from the start. The great obama was selling it as NOT a tax, that it would pay for itself, Now to get it passed by the Supreme Court, it's a TAX. And it will be a TAX for the middle class. Roberts wrote that the law "makes going without insurance just another thing the government taxes, like buying gasoline or earning an income." Only reason it passed. This is a tax where you must pay if you don't purchase. It's a tax on a product you must buy just because you are breathing. And you will continue to pay for free health care after this pile of doo-doo goes into effect. There are still several million people excused. You will have to pay more in taxes to pay for increased numbers on Medicaid. You will have to pay more in taxes to subsidize premiums for all those people who don't have insurance now because they can't afford. Where do you think they are going to get the money to pay for it in 2014? You my friend...YOU and me.

Funny, then explain the higher court also upholding it! His being gay had nothing to do with it! Read the summery and you can plainly see that it was indeed on Constitutional grounds! Equal treatment under the law! Gays had the right and it was voted away and we don't vote on Constructional given rights in this country! Prop 8 was and is simply Unconstitutional period!

I am Irish, my father was Irish. On St Paddy's day and a few other occasions he wore a skirt,( Kilt) He was a great dad. The fact that he wore a skirt on occasions did not make him any less a dad, or a man. In fact if he where alive ( He would be 90) I bet he could kick your ass. He was not a cross dresser, yet he did
have a nice green and black plaid skirt. Nothing flashy, knee high length.
Say next years St Paddy's day parade if you see a guy in a kilt, why don't you call him a queer. Let me know how long you where knocked the fuck out for. I bet 2 or 3 minuites at least.

And there you haven't, folks -- they call it "equality."

And you thought I was kidding when I told you they wanted adoption rights for cross-dressers.

Well, let's see by a show of hands how many of you straight morons who support same sex marriage are all for allowing cross-dressers to adopt.

C'mon, now -- show Clyde you got his back.
