We never heard any news from Danville,California about the death of a young mother by her own son. What happened to the Dimitra Mantas family. The son is in jail, that we know. What happened with the 12 year old sister and the 19 year old sister? Did the father house them in? What a tragic mystake will be. Please open wide open your eyes and focus the lifestyle of the father and beyond. Andrew Mantas is not to be blamed at this point. Perhaps he killed his own mother but there are many questions to be answered by the father.

All of us for the Mantas family. Our respect and love for those two girls.

I'd like to hear more of your thoughts as I wondered about the father from first I heard this story. I can't find any articles either explaining what evidence they have against Andrew Mantas except that they think he is mentally ill. Weren't the couple still going through a divorce and'or the father lost his job?

The story is tragic; but to speculate as to the reason it happened, would cause more trama to a family who have already been through enough.

Still no more news about this story. I think speculation is fine as this boy has not been convicted nor even has a trial date been announced as far as I can find. I think there are questions to be asked and the silence on this is not a good thing.

wow i cant believe that lady just said andrew is not to blame or killing his mom. i personaly know andrew mantas very well and have met his mother on a few occasions she never wanted anything but to feed us and give us a place to stay if we needed it. andrew is perhaps one of the more mean spitited kids i have ever met. he used to talk about killing his mom all the time. how dare you say he is not to blame all the way from flordia. wow

These people appear to be relatives of Andrew who are deeply concerned and have not been given any information by the father. Perhaps you should consider they have valuable information as they say both the father and the grandfather were very abusive. Also, there was much controversy in the divorce. Now, Andrew Mantas has no voice and obviously Dimetria cannot tell us anything about what was going on in the family. She was murdered only 3 days after a contentious divorce was finalized? I believe there is more to th is case than we know, I hope we will know and that investigators have looked further than just accepting Andrew is guilty due to his behavior. Is there any other evidence against him?

My friends have gone through enough they don't need your speculations causing more harm. The girls have been with their loving father all along. They are coping with their loss and otherwise doing fine.

Yo Bottom Line... Mantas is smoked! I dunno but i could bet a million dollars and not lose a wooden nickel if I bet that chakallene boy had "other-worldly" motives.... BTW His 19 year old sister..... If she got a nose job.. yes, otherwise No! Holler at me if you see this and your shnozz isn't too bulbous Chakallena.
