So... we're now allowing the building of outdoor dining areas that occupy space within 5 feet of 3500-plus pound vehicles traveling at an average of 35 miles per hour... yeah... interesting. So, anyway, I was wondering, is the mayor and the city council required to take unannounced drug tests throughout the year? If not... shouldn't we start doing that?

Increasing numbers of rational LA citizens are attributing the lack of DRUG TESTS of City Council for many of the Cities woes. What else could explain driving the once most prosperous city in America into Municipal Bankrutpcy. If Tony V and the City Hall pols are convicted of colluding with the unions to destroy LA's ability to pay it's obligations maybe they can "plea bargain" to go to a locked down Mental Hospital rather than Federal Prison.

Plus you have unlicensed and uninsured illegals driving around not knowing the traffic laws...

The other day I saw a man holding onto a tree trunk while he dropped a deuce on the sidewalk. He's gonna love these new parklets.

The filthier the City the more City Hall hippies and chicanos like it. Remember the $5 MILLION of our dollars which had to be spent after Obama's Occupy Trash squatted at LA City Hall for months and completely destroyed the property That is Villaragosa legacy. Filth, Bankruptcy and Human Waste.

In revolutionary occupied Long Beach, revolutionary Council has even turned publicly owned and financed sidewalks over to overcharging politically connected owners of tacky overcharging coffee shops and faux "theme" food operations to be used for "animal optional" dining and drinking. Besides worrying about getting run into and seriously injured or killed by unlicensed, uninsured, and unregulated unruly bicycle drivers - or by the violence prone skateboarders - on the city's narrow sidewalks, now pedestrians must worry about getting bitten by large vicious dogs that are protecting their owners' taxpayer owned occupied sidewalk space. Californians, whether they bothered to Vote or not, ALL own the shame, dishonor, and disgrace of electing politicians who enticed the foreigners to colonize California while ignoring immigration laws. We didn't measure up to American standards and our children and our State are the less for it. From the "greatest generation" to limp wristed Losers in just a few years. Ouch.
