As long as no THC was allowed in the blood system of any welfare recipient of any kind, with bi-monthly checks, I'm all for it.

legalize it? yes! tax it? sure! but $50 an ounce surcharge will promote a resurgence of underground sales. california is already growing the seeds of it's own demise.

Underground sales will only occur if the grade of the over the counter stuff is sub-par.

At the end of the day, the quality and price is what will influence this.

Any can grow their own vegitables, but it's so much easier to buy it in the market.

Sure one can grow their own weed, but it would be much better and even cheaper to buy it at Albertson's next to the spice rack.

Oh what a joy
that day will be
When one can spark
A joint and be free

To inhale such passion
To inhale one toke
Of that magical substance
We all love to smoke

From Lyme green to Indigo
From Mexico or Humbolt
The chance that this weed
Will soon be available

To the masses, to the ill
To the politicians on the hill
To the rich to the poor
We must open up this door

Imagine the joy
People dancing in the streets
Snoop Doggy dog
Even jumping on his feet

Rolling a huge blunt
With a smile on my face
Just Knowing how good
This doobie is gonna taste

So for those who are responsible
For passing this lawl
I and many thank you
To you we applaud

For the day of true Freedom
Has now clearly rung
To the festival of Canabis
God bless all who light up!

peace out

Yes Yes Yes..........But, it will mean nothing if those taxes are given to the anti citizen Mob in the State Legislature who will merely throw the money away on pure Marxist tripe.

As we all learned last week. The most destructive band of politicians in America are those who populate the Calif. State Legislature. No one expects anything positive or productive from that bunch of mobsters.

Smoking pot or drinking, really, what's the difference? I say legalize it, tax dollars:-)! How long did it take for the 'underground' sellers of alcohol to go out of 'business' after the repeal of prohibition? If I recall, I think history showed it wasn't long...I will say that any 'harder' drugs ought NOT to be legalized, however!

This is a great source of tax revenue.

First, we must demand that NO NEW tax money be given to Sacramento until we have the opportunity replace the Governor and the State Legislature.

No citizen could be stupid enough to trust the current politicians with a single dime after the epic failure they wrought on the Citizens and the State.

If the government can match any of my Afghani Kush, Bubba Kush, Master Kush, OG Kush, Super Silver Haze and Grand Daddy Purple strains and be able to mass produce, market and sell for cheaper than I can grow it, I'm all for it too. It takes me 70-75 days from grow to harvest for my legally allotted 6 flowering plants. My plants are mostly low yield but super potent and I get about 1-4 ounces off each plant. And it's "legal".
Speak Easies, Mob Wars and gunfires in the streets were ALL alcohol related. I think you're wrong. Write the "Kennedy" family and ask how they got wealthy...lol

They got wealthy shorting the stock market in the market crash. Before that, Joe Kennedy was not wealthy. Know what you're talking about before talking out of your ignorant behind.

That is correct information. While Joe Kennedy left his Wife and family in Boston and publicly shamed the family by having a very public nationally reported affair with Gloria Swanson.

It was a disgustingly shameful time of betrayal and public disgrace as Mr. Kennedy slimed his own family.

Daily Horoscope for November 11

Cancer

You can enjoy today's energy, no matter how frantic the pace of life might seem. Plan to meet a friend for lunch and talk about silly things; there is no need to stay serious all the time, so let loose for a while. Pick the brains of someone older and wiser. If you're the oldest person you know, you'll be surprised at how much wisdom can come from the mouths of babes.
