Unfortunately, there are people in this world who really do wish what you claim were true. That is why Knox needs to be very careful and why some of us still feel obligated to counter the lies which have been promulgated about her.

We remain grateful that Knox has been exonerated by the Italian appellate court and its jury, and we remain hopeful that the Italian supreme court will uphold the verdict of the appellate and further overturn the unjust conviction for "calumny" in which Knox was blamed for slander actually perpetrated by Perugian police.

And we remain amazed and horrified that there yet remain people right here in the U.S. who wish Knox ill instead of being utterly outraged over the unjust treatment of a fellow American citizen in a foreign land we deign to call our "ally".
