But we have seen the tide turn, here and in Europe, and we can hope that justice will prevail soon. The fight to restore the good name of these two innocent people has hardly begun, but we will not rest until Amanda and Raffaele are free, and the monsters who convicted them and smeared them will be made to answer for their crimes.

The tide has definitely NOT turned in favor of Amanda. In fact, look on Facebook, most the posters believe Amanda is guilty and the Knox-Mellas Propaganda Machine is recognized for what it truly is -- LIES and PROPAGANDA!

Despite what the zealots claim, there are more people like me who believe AK is guilty than there are people like gompertz and Chris.

The mixed blood DNA evidence against AK is the most damning of all the DNA evidence. The court could throw out all the bra clasp and knife DNA evidence, but AK's fresh blood mixed with Meredith's fresh blood found in their bathroom in four places, plus mixed DNA from both in the corridor, and Filomena's room, all point to AK cleaning up the crime scene and staging the break-in Filomena's room.

Defense teams did not ask for independent expert review of this DNA evidence, nor did they attempt to explain it, nor did they attempt to dispute it, other that one remark about mixed DNA being common in a shared house. Why was the mixed DNA from FRESH BLOOD of both females?

Raffaele didn't testify at either his first nor appeal trial, but he has not corroborated AK's last version of her alibi. In fact Raffaele has stated AK was not at his place from 9PM to 1AM Nov 1 to Nov. 2, 2007.

Go back and read the basics of cells required to create a DNA profile -- dead, keratinized skin cells contain no living nucleus to obtain DNA! Some of the mixed DNA found in the bathroom was MK's FRESH BLOOD mixed with skin cells scrubbed off of Amanda's feet -- new skin cells -- not dead skin cells which would have been useless! AK scrubbed her hands and feet in the shared bathroom to clean MK's blood off her bare feet -- hence the mixed DNA in some areas!
