Hey, where's my comment about the Degolia oracle-bead chronicle in Northwest PA?

Lillien Jane Martin, a female pioneer(meaning a person who is among those who first enter or settle a region, Degolia Pa, thus opening it for occupation and development by others.) in psychology has been ignored throughout history. [Stewart Fl]

Degolia, PA, has an archaeological site -- the great woman of Olean was not an archaeologist. An obsession with 'the automobile' can be attributed to her experience, however.

Dr. Lillian J. Martin
Granddaughter of Frederick S. Martin “It is important to salvage the old people, for it not only increases their happiness but helps them find themselves.” ~Dr. Lillian J. Martin, June, 4, 1930 At the age of seventy-nine, Dr Lillien J. Martin, a former resident of Olean, and a nationally known educator, visited Portville en route to Poughkeepsie to attend the fiftieth reunion of her class at Vassar College. Dr. Martin left Olean before she was twenty years old.“Olean has changed decidedly”, she said, "and certainly much for the better." The following article was published at that time, June 4, 1930. “Happiness in Age” that is the problem which has been solved by Dr. Lillien J. Martin of San Francisco, California, widely known Psychologist, and former resident of Olean, who was now visiting Miss Lilla Wheeler of Portville. Born of conservative pioneer family of Olean, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Martin, Dr. Martin has been acclaimed one of the foremost psychologists in the country and has the distinction of opening the fires to child guidance clinic in America. Although she is seventy-nine years old, she has never let her age hamper her in the happiness she has sought. Early this year, Dr. Martin caused nation wide interest when she left unaccompanied for Russia to study conditions there. She taught school in Omaha following graduation from Vassar and finally became a member of the faculty of Leland Stanford University. When she became sixty-five years, the age at which Stanford retires its professors, she refused to give up her activity and instead became more active than ever. She started by taking a trip around the world, writing a book about it on her return and following that by going on a lecture tour. She continued her studies as eagerly as a college junior. She then opened a psychology clinic in San Francisco, Ca., the first ever to be known in existence and its fame is known throughout the country. ”Salvaging Old Age” is Dr. Martin’s idea and one which she carries out.“It is important to salvage the old people,“ Dr. Martin said today,“for it not only increases their happiness but helps them find themselves.” From the industrial point of view, forty years is the height in business and then one becomes a member of the scrap heap. Dr. Martin maintains that the old are always useful, and that pensions for employees in most cases are unnecessary, for happiness is found when one is working. From her point of view, an old person, whom employers believe, too old for any more use in their business, is still valuable and she has solved this problem many times by having elderly people find themselves and continue their work on the same basis as before. .......... |

"A woman's work is never done"? There is possibly an active cult that uses knowledge and memories of that woman in various ways to advance their own interests -- perhaps as an inquisition intended to gain more information about her travels and personal activities. As example, any historical mental-imagery that surfaces within the Olean-area western PA/NY border region might be automatically but wrongfully ascribed to Martin and her career path; while elsewhere young girls/women encouraged to emulate her instead are totally mystified and made the subjects of unusual pressure.

Back to the future -- Martin in San Francisco, CA, most probably was studying the reasons she herself traveled there, and among those reasons include a use of historical mental-imagery without documentation, i.e. the same reasoning that also sends U. S. troops into foreign nations as an action that uses historical mental-imagery without documentation/disclosure. That people use such historical mental-imagery to install themselves within that CA region and others does cause psychosis among native/indigenous populations is no reason to claim fame for the clinic, especially if she was simply passing-along the cache of mental-imagery during assessment sessions such that the clinic seemed helpful and popular. As example, among specific historical mental-images circulating at that time in the mortheast United States was numbered the memory-image of a baby palm-tree growing in Golden Gate Park, now an adult tree located nearby what became known as 'Hippie Hill'. A study of the reasons why people suddenly travel into and settle within northern CA should include a description of those historical mental-images, but no such disclosure/documentation was used to justify the clinic or to prevent reactive psychosis. The conclusion that Martin's clinic was therefore illegal can be supported with any number of examples from the annals of crime which occurred within the region and within CA as a whole.

Plus, the sudden dynamiting of Peruvian heritage sites may be traceable to her visitations in South America -- i.e., may be 'pinned on' her.

Again, LJM was no Mary Leakey, traveling successfully to find the bones of a primate human-ancestor in Africa, using preserved memory-images mentally transmitted from an oracle-bead chronicle -- an artifact found in Degolia, PA during the 1960s. It is obviously no secret that many people reside in the northwestern NY/PA region to use/exploit its natural and manufactured resources such that those have no knowledge whatsoever about its indigenous religious heritage as different from the European-inposed religious networking.
