Making Sports Fun Requires Training For Parents

Sounds like more hors-crap from the mental health and counseling industry.

We have been playing sports since the beginning of mankind and we have been competitive and have found enjoyment in the accomplishments of the athletic to win or the sadness in the loss. Now the mental health and counseling industry have all the answers in sports related psychology. LMAO.

Many parents utilize sports programs along with other programs designed for children as their secondary babysitter! And this does have an effect on the progress of their children in comparason to children of families where their parents are involved.

There have already been many studies conducted that supports this case. And it effects children in many other areas such as education, relationships, social skills, etc.

This isn't a case of mental health acting all on their own as educators have been advocating for parental involvment throughout the past 40 years as well.

But, than there was a time when parents had expected schools in raising their kids for them as well.

Look at the shootings and killings that took place at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado:

The majority of society immediately blamed the problem on "Guns." But, very few ever asked where the Parents were doing this whole process! But, then where were the teachers and law enforcement as well?

Fact #1: During the previous semester at this school, these two young men had completed an English term paper by providing their English teacher with a video tape that showed what they were going to do on that day.

Fact #2: That video tape had alarmed the English teacher and she in turn took it to the school principle.

Fact #3: After reviewing that video tape, the school principle took that video tape to the Littleton police station and shared his concerns about those two young men with the police.

Fact #4: That was the end of what happened during that process as well as the news reporters were able to find out.

Fact #5: This information was brought up and out by one news reporter during one of the Littleton Police news presentations. No more information was ever presented by the Littleton Police after that.

Sorry to state here that this case was never about and will never be about "Guns." It was related to and all about parental involvement.

Life provides all of us with many challenges and we have to take responsability in working through those challenges. Anyone can easily produse children, but it takes work and involvement in raising them, so that they can become accomplished adults.
