I am NOT saying that we ought to become the minutemen......but a good 20-30 minutes of foreplay(tongue, fingers whatever works) is common...but of course, if there is a time where a man had BETTER GET HINTS..this is the time..so follow her lead...

Boring sex is in the bed in the bedroom in the same position every time. Great sex doesnt even have to include intercourse. It could be manual oral on the floor in the shower - wherever - whenever when the mood strikes you. If its playful - its great sex.
