To think, Dark matter was most prevalent in the early universe. Dark matter being so dense and the universe being filled with it, makes me wonder what the dynamics of space-time were then and how the then universe would have looked.

Thank you for posting this. God bless you for your insight. |

Einstein said Science without Religion or Religion without Science would be faulty
I believe in God and Science. I never went to school for physics but it's kind of a hobby, I do alot of reading on the subject. Its fascinating. |

Nice to hear from you again shinning! Your unique thought processes and poetic posts have been sorely missed around here. I have no idea what is causing the transference of atoms to energy, although the thermonuclear processes inside stars account for a percentage of it. As far as a composite universe is concerned, I've always like the sci-fi accounts of multiple universes. Perhaps at some points, maybe in some of the higher dimensions described in string theory, realities bump together and share with each other. I'm going to get started on that rap album now. I'll figure out a way to work the name "shinningelectron" into my raps about bitches and ho's and cops. |

You might like this little comic, it's about evolution, but it does address Milo's mindset here. http://saintgasoline.com/comics/2007-12-01-Di... |

Waveforms are intriguing aren't they?
Looking deeply into the past is also fascinating. So, if the the Universe comes into existence with a Bang (or the Big Whoosh, as I like to call it) and no one is around to observe it does it still make a sound? Probably not - but the potentiality would be there if there were a conducting medium. Did anyone check this out? http://wmap.gsfc.nasa.gov/ This is a map of the "cosmic microwave temperature fluctuations from the 5-year WMAP data seen over the full sky": http://www.nasa.gov/images/content/216398main... "The average temperature is 2.725 Kelvin (degrees above absolute zero; equivalent to -270 C or -455 F), and the colors represent the tiny temperature fluctuations, as in a weather map. Red regions are warmer and blue regions are colder by about 0.0002 degrees." Here's the image from two years ago with white bars showing the "polarization" direction of the oldest light: http://wmap.gsfc.nasa.gov/media/060917/index.... P.S. To shinningelectr0n - we missed you!!! |

BWAHAHAHAHA! Thanks for the laugh. |

When you are inspired by some great purpose
some extraordinary project all your thought break their bonds your mind transcends limitations your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be Patanjali (approx. 2000 B.C.) The universe is a cool and exciting place. People like bean and Murphy (and his law), who take a pessimistic view of things like black holes swallowing up (big) things only shows that some people view things with a negative bias. In any event, I hope stories like this will help people realize we are all made of the same Stuff, from a Single Source, and that ALL discord is of the ego. Peace... |

Where was everything before the Big Bang, and where did the space come from into which the universe expanded? |

Thanx Burgy,i was thinking of Galileo, maby Da Vinci too.The list is long.It also reminded me of another religious movement,In fanaticism,Nazism. They too quelled knowledge. Some religion's for century's suppressed the scientific findings of those who may pose a threat to their world. Its ironic most scientific thinking minds are atheists. It seems those with their minds in the science of discovery feel this.Yet most great discovery's were in the name of God. Which leads me to think, what ever method is used to find the truth,is valid. As long as the results are not altered to suit a point of view. I remember that our astronauts in space, awed by what they were seeing and feeling, recited the book of Geniuses. Now that was science and Faith all rolled up in one.Really impressive! It can be of course! |

uh ... Hitler burned books, not religion. The greatest mass murderers in history were godless socialist. Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, etc. I tell you this as an unbeliever. Not all atheist want to burn books and kill millions. If you would grow up and realize not all god fearing people want to burn books and kill millions either it would go a long way to making you NOT sound like an ignorant fuck with such a tedious trite reflexive regurgitation of socialist group think.

The "Big Bang" was a long, long time ago, but not in a place far, far away; it was right here!

Jeannie, space is created as needed. The universe doesn't expand into space, space is part of the universe. It expands with/as part of the universe.
What is the universe expanding into? Nothing. Which is not the same as saying emptiness. Emptiness suggests a volume for which a state of emptiness can exist. Nothing can be nonexistence. What was on the other side of the Big Bang? Anyones guess. Theories (educated guesses in this case) are being developed, all beyond my understanding of course, but within the general theme of these postings it almost doesn't matter. Someone will say, before that, before that, before that? Followed by a remark suggesting somehow an argument a three year old could make supports their point of view. Personally my mind goes into fail safe mode and shuts down when contemplating existence has to be eternal. |

The NAZIS were a religion of sorts.True believers,a God like figure to follow,a bible of sorts Mien Kemp, not unlike any fanatical people.Militant Muslims comes to mind.Blind obedience to an idea,or a belief. Now don't get your sick brain bent,I'm not saying religion is like Nazis. The same for the KKK. In all these cases ,knowledges, light, books,or any other thinking is blotted out. Non believers ,atheists,in a free society do not burn books. They can under our first amendment say just about what they want, like you peckerhead.. Try that in those country's you mention.Or in a totally controlling religious society.Com e to think of it the "Puritans fall into that mold...do they??...Anomity is nice,1t makes truly little people think they are something else! Your language revels the true level of your troubled ignorant brain. Its people like you who are the enemy's of the open mind, thinking, and intelligence. Get your finger out of your navel, or some where else you feel comfortable with, Maggot, get a serous life,if you can! |

It`s sickening to see all the money they waste on this kind of thing . Trying to find out some thing they will never know for sure . Maybe when we are able to travel through the Universe in about 5000 AD then it would be a better time to investigate this Mystery . But hey Maybe I`ll apply for a large Government grant so I can waste some tax dollars . |
|
LOL...religion is the EPITOME of SOCIALIST group think...what's so original or liberating to believe in any of it? |
