Nice pickup, Mare Island. This should be the start of attracting more high-wage, high-tech businesses to Vallejo. Now if the City Council will just stay away from interfering with natural business growth, Vallejo will finally be on its way to creating good jobs and a better quality of life for its citizens.

Great news! If a few more companies set up shop in MI, it has the potential to have a snowball effect. It was bound to happen: how many other places are there in the Bay Area with affordable real estate and at short distance from SF, Berkeley, Davis.

Spam, do us all a favor and DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY! The last thing we need is for you to open your big trap and show how little you know but in that obnoxiously arrogant way.

Please!

The Council will screw this up somehow. 20 employees is not much but at least its a start in the right direction. Council will probably suggest a smoke shop or liquor store be built nearby...Also when in the hell are they going to make people pay for ferry parking???? If they would charge $5 per day which is half of what you must pay in SF that would bring in revenue to the city....

What about the VIB mantra 'no new revenues untill (PSU) salaries and benefits are under control? This will just line their pockets. The more potential money for the GF the more likely the 'PSU will still take what they want from the trough.'

Did I get that right Captain?

maybe tuesday schivley will again wrongly credit lennar for "bringing" this company to vallejo/mare island.
all lennar does is facilitate the lease documents.
keadjin, did lennar "reach out" to this company or the railroad company?
stop pumping up lennar, joann!!

The mantra is NO NEW TAXES (no UUT) for your bloated salaries/benefits/retirement.

And, revenue generated ON Mare Island STAYS on Mare Island. Opps, forgot, can't expect you to pay attention, go back to waxing your firetruck.

Come on down around 5:00A.M. to collect it if you're that concerned about us paying for parking while already paying the more than any other county for the service alone. I don't think you’re that adamant to get my $5.00...

A small firm but a good start. The city counsel members should be over there with a paint brush offering to help out! Biotech is a great industry to attract…..give then the buildings for free if need be.

keep it up sammy-. why don't you tell all prospective businesses how you have sued Pep Boys, US Bancorp, Equifax, MCI and probably other business generating corporations in a vallejo court. just what the city council needs- a person who likes to sue businesses
