Bad maths may be a disability

God I'm sick of all the labels why not use the ol fashion term DUMB!!

What if the person isn't dumb in everything, just math? There could be a disability of some kind in that case that causes trouble in a particular area, just as dyslexia causes reading difficulty.

I had an awful time wth math when I was a child, but my IQ was normal in everything else. What really made it frustrating is that I was actually interested in mathematics, so it can't be blamed on laziness or boredom. Often a kid doesn't do well in a subject that bores them.

I think it's quite likely that I had some sort of learning disability. When I got far enough along in school for math to be a voluntary subject, I dropped it.

omg. i love mathishness. i kind of suck at it seeing as i dont go to school anymore and when i did, i didnt really pay attention to it..but omg...Algerbra pisses me off. how, HOW do letters and numbers equal shapes and angles?! 0________o...is that even alerbra?:| or like...is that a bunch of other crap too? basically i just suck at mathlie..ness. right. SO! to my point, to my point!..well..more of a question, can i get more money off of winz for this disability? 0_o..if so. i'd like to know how to approach the subject with the case manager ho-lady, because the whole poppin'-out-a-kid-thing doesn't really do it for me and the 'sickness benefit' can only take the piss for so long.

if youre no good at maths , who gives a shit ! i was hopeless at maths at school too, big deal, ive actually leant more maths since i left. and most of the teachers were pervs anyways...especially at Mahurangi College, in Warkworth in the early 80's......whah!
