South Africans Murders Hit Scary Rate

Fact: <3% of murders in SA is commited by whites (whether white on white or white on black), who own mosts guns (legally). The government policy is to reduce their (legal gunowners) capacity to defend themselves, why?

Linking gun ownership and the murder rate is mischievious, given that most murders are committed by stolen or black market guns.

Fact: This level of barbarity, cruelty and senseless inherent in many of these murders has nothing to do with apartheid.

It has been experienced since Europeans arrived in SA, and probably before that too (predominately black on black, black on white, where are the San people?)

The murder of whites by blacks in South Africa has everything to do with apartheid. You only have ask any black man you see on the street what they think of the white man on the other side of the same street. White folks in South Africa are very cruel, senseless and barbaric, and I think they deserve every bit of it; pity I dont have time or the inclination to argue my case here...

Apartheid has nothing to do with murder in south africa, the majority of the black population in south africa believes it is right to steal from white south africans like they owe black people something. If anything black people owe the white people for bringing them out of the dark ages. Wake up crime isn't gonna solve any issues that some say are caused by "apartheid"!

Even now they still want what the whites have but so few are willing to work for it. Just a reminder the white people worked to get where they are and what they have! And some how the black people just do not get that! I am a white South African, and I live in Europe now, notthing will make me go back there and live, live a life of constant fear of wondering when I will be next. I have had family members murdered and to this day no one has been brought to justice! Why! Because the parties involved probably do not have a birth certificate or legal form of identification, thus there are no records of them existing at all, so how catch someone that does not exist? I am proud to be South African, there is no other country like it, but it has gone to the dogs, and it still has to get much more worse before it will even remotely get better! And the best of all it, that most of the black people that claim so much for themselves in South Africa was brought into the land by the English from other African countries, and the ones that truly have claims to the country like the San people, and the other who no longer exist you never hear from! Bunch of bloody hypocrites! Instead of being proud of what you have and who you are, you would rather complain about what you don’t have and would like to have and get it by killing and steeling and wrecking other people’s lives! I am so sick of the problems there, the stupidity, the corruption and the unjust that I just don’t care so much anymore. Look at the bunch of monkeys we have in the government, who don’t even know their asses from their elbows! Need I say more?

I am an educated black American and I would advise you to stay in Europe honey. You should not have had your white ass in Africa in the first place. I agree with what the Africans are doing. Look at HISTORY, and you will see that whites have historically gained control through deceit, oppression, by causing division, and they also used these behaviors to "MAINTAIN" control.

The white man is INHERENTLY evil and cares nothing for anyone. Most of them anyway. Poor Africa got caught up because whites used deception to conn them out of everything, to pit one tribe against the other, etc. And while the blacks fought, the whites went in and took what they wanted.

The Africans should now rise up. And take back THEIR land what you have stolen. I have always heard that White South Africans were some of the racist people on earth and now I believe it. TO YOU AFRICA SHOULD SAY "GOOD RIDDANCE".

I agree. I think the blacks should run the whites out of town. I heard about the Farmers in some african country doing just that. Because whites have done so many awful things to blacks.

I am a black American and even here whites can't stand to see a black man get money. Get too powerful before they start trying to entrap them.

The controversial crime website which had as its stated aim telling the world “the truth” about crime in South Africa is up for sale after being exposed by The Citizen as based on lies.
Today we expose the dealings of the man who calls himself Neil Watson, the founder of the Crime Expo South Africa (Cesa) website, which has come under fire from politicians and big business for its negative portrayal of South Africa and its efforts to discourage tourism and investment.
An investigation by The Citizen shows a link between Watson and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance (GLA) and its head, Juan Uys.
News was rife on Internet domains yesterday The Citizen would publish a story today, and shortly before 4pm yesterday afternoon the Cesa team announced it was willing to transfer the website.
“We are willing to stay on in our capacities, but will transfer Cesa to any other person if this will bring to an end the debates regarding Cesa team members,” it said.
It confirmed Uys was involved in the Cesa campaign, but denied a link between Uys and Watson.
Watson has been stirring up debate since the website’s launch in July, publishing stories of crime on the site he once claimed received more that 75 000 hits a day.
The Citizen investigation led to the initial service providr of the site, MWeb which confirmed the site was registered on June 27 by a Jaco van der Walt.
Van der Walt provided contact details for an e-mail address, neilwatsonsa@yahoo.co.uk and a physical address of 37 Strand Street, Cape Town.
This address is also used by the GLA. The GLA was embroiled in the blood donation saga last year when gays were told they could no longer donate blood.
In a statement by the GLA at the time, a person calling himself David Baxter gave a physical address - 37 Strand Street.
This is the address supplied when the crime expo website was registered before being moved to a US-based service provider.
Contrary to Watson’s earlier claims that his site had been sabotaged, the reason the site failed was due to non-payment.
Internet rumours flew over the past week that Watson and Uys/Baxter were the same person.
In an e-mail leaked to this newspaper by a person with no ties to the website, Watson told a senior staffer of Cesa last month he would gladly accept cheque donations.
Watson claims in the e-mail that “the Uys guy who is supporting us a lot” would be willing to cash cheques from the UK via his account at Standard Bank.
In the e-mail Watson states:“Let them make the cheques to JD Uys”
And the founder of eblockwatch, neighbourhood networking system, circulated an e-mail to his members asking for the real Neil Watson to identify himself.
The letter by eblockwatch’s Andre Snyman was met with a scathing article on the Cesa website, accusing Snyman of sexual impropriety.
Snyman laughed of the accusations, telling The Citizen he had previously indicated he wanted to work with Cesa to find solutions to the country’s crime problems.
Snyman said despite requests to met Watson in person, Watson had refused.
Uys, leader of the GLA, was arrested in Pretoria in 1999 for possession of child pornography and prostituting under-aged boys.
This after he registered as a candidate in the local elections.
Uys failed to pay the election registration fee, claiming his house had burned down, allegedly with the deposit money.
In a remarkable similarity, Watson has told numerous people his house burnt down several years ago while he was living in Johannesburg.
The website war between Watson and Pieter Boshoff, who runs a rival website opposing Cesa, has been documented over the past few months with accusations levelled against Boshoff of being a “moffie”(gay), and for his alleged part in a Netherlands-based website for young gay men.
Watson, in a telephone interview with The Citizen in October, admitted he had previously paid someone to hack into Boshoff’s website...

Colonisation did the whole of Africa a great injustice, and damage. The missionaries took away the traditional African faith, culture and replaced it with something alien to them. The colonisers (yes Jeanine -us )took away their land and their self sufficiency. We came from Europe; that is where our historical roots are - we are guests in Africa. Africa belongs to the African, the San and the other peoples of Africa.

I would like to apologise to the other readers. Not all South Africans hold Jeanine's view.

On a lighter note, I'm from the UK and thinking of visiting South Africa - just to get some sun, check out the general situation etc. However I am rather keen not getting mugged and/or shot. I've been mugged a few times before in Europe (generally by black people) and this does make me slightly apprehensive (sp?). Are there any things/places a tourist should generally avoid? I hope this isn't too off topic - I also have an interesting problem in combinatorics if anyones wants to help?

Wow. I can't believe some of the comments I am reading about blacks in South Africa from Europeans. I am a black American and all of my African Friends who are hear speak so highly of Europe.

They all tell how white Europeans LOVE AFRICAN WOMEN AND MEN. They all speak of THEIR NUMEROUS INTERACIAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH WHITES. And now you guys can't stand them??

Why would you continously sleep with people you can't stand and are afraid to be around.

I agree. Africa belongs to the African. I am a black American from Mississippi.

I have ran into Jeannines kind before even here. They are racists. She reminds me of some of the "disenfranchised" whites in the backwoods of Mississippi, Arkansaw, Tennessee, Alabama and Texas (notwithstanding other states) that are bitter towards blacks because they had a bad experience or not doing as well "financially" as they should.

In America, Poor whites are the most racist. You never really hear "rich" whites openly stating such awful views. Look at Bill Gates, arguably the "richest" man on earth and how he helps africa. He does not speak about it in disdain.

I feel sorry for individuals such as Jeannine. Who knows she could have dated a black african man who did her wrong or something.

Hi there....i read almost all coments and i was astonished!Every one speak generally white people,black people....but think about the individs!...at the singular mode!I am a white guy from east of europe,i don't have problem with racism,i have a girlfriend from Gauteng,she's black i love her and i want to married with her!...leave those things away,think about the individ...if its black,white doesn't matter...we have the same colour of blood!...just mind make's the diference,not the colour!...think about of this!

Hey Pinky winky the whites will all leave the idiots to TRY govern themselves if they were ABLE to, but as history has show us they are 100% totally unable to look after themselves and are forever sticking there hands out for AID given once again by the WHITEMAN, not other black african countries
