I found the following perfect & free solution on the internet that covers 4 rounds of ABCD play for 16 players with no duplicates.
(1,2,3,4)(5,6,7,8)(9,10,11,12) (13,14,15,16)
(1,5,9,13)(2,6,10,14)(3,7,11,1 5)(4,8,12,16)
(1,6,11,16)(2,5,12,15)(3,8,9,1 4)(4,7,10,13)
(1,7,12,14)(2,8,11,13)(3,5,10, 16)(4,6,9,15)
(1,8,10,15)(2,7,9,16)(3,6,12,1 3)(4,5,11,14)

24 players in 6 teams of 4. Playing 4 rounds of golf.... How do I arrange the pairings so that nobody plays the same person twice ?

Mike, could you kindly let me have a spreadsheet for 12 players playing in three flights of four over four days, so that's 12 flights altogether. I'm looking for maximum separation which means that each player should only have to play with one other player twice. Many thanks
