About three weeks ago we also heard booms. It was just before dark. It was so loud I thought maybe a house in the neighborhood had exploded. But in about 10 minutes there was another large boom. And a third one followed shortly. The booms were loud enough to rattle the windows. We never found out the cause. The town was Beebe, Arkansas, the same town the red wing blackbirds died on New Years eve. No relation probably, but the booms sure were strange.

read this article!! you can also google fermilab. i think the most likely cause is from an experiment with an underground project involving neutrinos. this article is from 2009. the article explains it all

good job finding this article and bringing some much needed light to this serious situation....and of course...who else would be behind such pathetic waste and distruction...the u.s. government and its alphabet gangs like F.B.I., C.I.A. ect.ect. H.A.R.P.P. as well as soulless business of distruction like " natural" gas fracting and oil drilling ...thank you and inform all those communities best you can..

Might want to read this article and also people should be looking all through the woods, swamps and fields to see if any new ground opening or cracks are happening! Maybe it's slight, but I am wondering if maybe the ground is carking open doing to the pole shifts ect?

I mean maybe the ground is opening up?,Not like that of a sink hole type of thing ..but an actual cracking of the earth's surface!Think of it as how our world's countries divided and separated ...The earth is expanding like a balloon maybe?

To all you people in Clintonville you may entetain the idea of underground safe houses for the elite being built. Not too many earthquakes give off loud noises but when they build the underground bunkers they use sonic lazers to drill so many miles per day. That is why the noise come periodically. You may want to look over your small town and see if you have some new people hanging out. Wake up and know what is really going on.

The Penokian range that is present in Wisconsin could be the oldest mountain range in the world. I think most geologists think of it as the third oldest but there is evidence the data is inconclusive. THe oldest mountain range in the world can be found in the southeastern U.S.: THe Uhwarrie range. THe second oldest mountain range is the Appalachian chain that spans from Northern Georgia northwards through the Carolinas and Virginia into southern New Hampshire. I am writing this from Pittsboro North acrolina in Chatham county. THe Uhwarrie range can be found in southern Alamance and northwestern Chatham COunty. Over the past fifteen years there have been boom sounds reported in western Chatham and southern Alamance county, that is within the Uhwarrie range. 1:00 a.m. one night the police stations in Siler City and Burlington N.C. were flooded with phone calls with denizens of the area asking what were the loud booms and blasts of noise that was occuring all around the area that night.Needless to say there were many frightened residents. Windows rattled and houses shook in vibration with the accompanying loud noises. THe local officials called the FAA. THe FAA had no data or information on their radar for any flights in the area the night all the commotion began. THe unusual event actually got written up in an article in the Chatham News, the local newspaper of western Chatham COunty out of Siler City. Over the past fifteen years or so the article appeared in this newspaper.
THis past late fall, OCtober 2011 the booms returned to the same area in the Uhwarrie mountains, That is northern and western Chatham COunty and southern alamance within the Uhwarrie mountains. The Burlington TImes News actually wrote two articles on the recent late October 2011 booms that appeared once again in the above mentioned areas. The articles are called: Loosely unidentified Flying objects: Madison taylor Burlington News Time. The other one was called: "The truth is out there...maybe" Madison Taylor. Late October 2011 articles these articles are. THese articles relate the recent round of strange boom sounds in the Burlington northwestern Chatham regions of late October 2011. One interesting additional fact of this late OCtober 2011, event was thefact that President Obama was in the area visiting Greensboro North carolina; Greensboro N.C. lies a little bit further northwest of the Burlington & north Chatham area. THere was a no fly zone created over about a twenty four period around Greensboro. The purpose for that was 'Air FOrce one' could land at Greensboro airport in basically an empty safe sky. WHere no intefering planes could create a potential accident or the like. Residents recalled the booms occuring in the late October night, probably bringing back memories over the past years, when at other previous times in previous years, the strange boom sounds emerged in these Uhwarrie mountain areas of Alamance and Chatham counties. In regards to the late October 2011 booms the FAA has no record of any aircraft in the air during the time of late OCtober 2011 in the above areas. So there is a mystery of boom sounds occuring with President Obama in the Greensboro, and the boom sounds emerged once again from the Uhwaarrie Mountains, just as previous years had the similar boom sound occurences. In anycase the two above Burlington News.com articles that can be found on the internet relate some information and specifics of the OCtober 2011 boom sounds that occured during the President Obama visit in Greensboro N.C. late October 2011.

Correction on the article title from the previous post:

the title should read for one of the Burlington News.com articles:

"Loosely identified flying objects."

The mispelled title previously went as loosely --unidentified---flying objects. Unidentified flying objects is incorrect and there will be difficulty issuing up the article via google.

Read this article, it's H2S or Hydrogen Sulphide gas, maybe some builds up then ignites violently. It will also kill any animal that is in the pocket. It paralyses the breathing centre. Red Wings always perch together in the swamp willows right?

Last summer My family & I experienced something like this. I was inside my room watching a movie when my sister tells me to come outside with her. At the time I didn't listen to her , but as I went outside with them , right before I touched to door knob , I felt it ,"vibrating", when I step onto my front yard ,y brother in law said there was a large light over our neighborhood. At the same tine I could hear the loud sound , the sounding faded away & came back. But with these strange sounds there were strange blinking lights & these ,"strange blinking lights", were after another light , this one was A dim orange & well showed up in different part of the sky pretty fast without leaving a trail. Soon after The orange light , made it's self into three , as if falling towards the ground , shut it's light one after another. I couldn't help but think The blinking lights were Air Fore jets from a near by Air Force base, about 50 miles away. But after looking at these blinking lights , they LITERALLY started flying towards the higher sky & what seemed to look like , well it was leaving Earths atmosphere. The following nights the strange sounds were heard again this time with out a ,"Light Show" , but only by our neighborhood & near by others experienced this (Eagle Pass , Texas 78852)

If the sound was coming from something above the surface - like UFO's or something...the sonic boom would also come from the air - yes? This is not the case. The sound comes from underground. I live on the other side of town from the origination point(s) and it sounds something like someone slamming the downstairs door REALLY hard. Which is what I thought it was the first few times. I don't hear the noise coming in through my open windows, rather it comes up from below.

Neutrino's do not interact with material objects enough to cause any sort of commotion - if they did we would all constantly hear booming noises, and probably getting knocked on our a$$es from time to time, as they are all around us all the time.

Also - lol - sonic lasers, altho they do exist, have not been nor are they likely to be produced on a scale large enough to drill even feet per day, much less miles per day, through solid rock. At least of a size large enough for any practical purpose, for some time to come. Not to mention, the water table throughout NE/NC Wisconsin is only a few feet below the surface, especially this time of year - dig down 2 feet you hit water...it will be that way through summer.

A more practical cause - MIB aside - is the fact that bi-secting Wisconsin is an area called a rift. It is the result of a continuation of the splitting of the continents millions of years ago. The rift in our area stopped, then filled with magma. The visible result is the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway, among other things. The not so visible result is a rather large chunk of material not connected to it's neighbors. Given that the continents are still moving, albeit slowly - hence earthquakes, it would make sense that the rest of the continent stretches and bends as a result of this uneven movement. This produces fault lines, such as the New Madrid fault which also goes through here, and gas pockets would crush and 'pop' producing noise, as would I imagine, water pockets and the like. Along with the 'normal' noises produced by rock surfaces catching and releasing along the boundaries of these two materials.

The fact that a low level 1.5 earthquake was reported earlier would seem to confirm my suspicion of what is really happening around here. Maybe I'll order my T-shirt today ;)

There were reports in the Wisconsin town of Babaroo? over the past 24 hours (4/)5/2012) that flashes of light intermixed with loud booms were reported. As of my knowledge there has not been any resolve of that case. Even a policeman heard the booms and saw the flashes. THe power company affirmed no power outages or any disturbances with the electrical transformers in Babaroo. IF there are flashes of light and booms that can't be explained its not too uncommon. In North Carolina for over the past few centuries the phenomena of the Brown Moutain Lights, that is mysterious lights that appear in the Appalachian mountain chain in western North Carolina have long been an unexplained folklore mystery. On the internet "Brown Mountain Lights North carolina" as title entry will issue various web sites on the Brown Mountain Lights. Lights in Babaroo along with seismic booms is interesting. And in the above posting of mine, the issue in Burlington N.C. with the Madison Taylor lights and booms in the Uhwarrie range areas of Chatham and Alamance N.C. are detailed in the above posting.

I posted some information and thinking on the CLintonville strange sounds and booms in 'the ROyal Shakespeare topix board' in the late March 2012-early April 2012 postings. THe Horton genealogy historical currents before Shakespeare...the topix entry title went something like that. Nevertheless it is easy to identify on the RSC topix board. Since about March 19-20 2012 I have posted numerous postings looking at seismic and earthquake activity elsewhere during the March18-to present time period that could have implications and connections to the CLintonville situation.

Consider this; could there be a large underground void forming where large sheets or pieces of bedrock are giving way or collapsing down into?? The formation of a large scale sink hole? Rather than measure the vibration or noise intensity should the USGS "x-ray" the earths crust?? Think about a pond or lake that has a layer or layers of ice that have formed...these booms seem to be mimicing the noises created when large sections of ice shift and split apart...now replace the ice with the sandstone under clintonville, and under the sandstone, a weaker softer material that is eroding/shifting/weakening causing the overlying material to become unstable.
