Edmarka rex or Torvosaurus: 11 m
Epanterias or Allosaurus amplexus: 12 m
Allosaurus fragilis: 10 m
Saurophaganax maximus: 11-13 m
Torvosaurus tanneri: 9-11 m
European Torvosaurus sp: 12 m

Saurophaganax would be the longest, but European Torvosaurus was probably as heavy as Sauro or Epan, if not heavier.

Saurophaganax: OMNH 01123 is based on a neural arch, so we can't say for certain, size is about maximum 12 meters, NOT 13 meters

Torvosaurus: 11 meters long from a specimen based on an arm, its weight is about 2 metric tons.

Allosaurus: Most complete specimen, MOR 693, is 95% complete, largest Allosaurus specimen is AMNH 680 is 9.8 meters long

Epanterias: May be a large Allosaurus, the specimen AMNH 5767 is 12.0 meters long, if its really an Allosaurus then Allo is 12 meters long, but for now its unknown.

Edmarka is about the same size as Torvosaurus, and it may simply be a species of Torvosaurus.

Emperor Fang would've said the same thing.

Well... if BYUVP 2003 (which skull measured 1.31 m) is about 11 m long, European Torvosaurus (based on 1.58 m skull) would be over 13 m.

I know AMNH 680 skeleton is 9.7 m, when this specimen was alive (adding flesh, cartilage, there is possible that it measured 10 m in length.

Fixed list:
Epanterias or Allosaurus amplexus: 12 m
Allosaurus fragilis: up to 10 m
Saurophaganax maximus: 11-12 m
Torvosaurus/Edmarka: 11 m
European Torvosaurus sp: 13+ m

European Torvosaurus has different skull shape than BYU specimens, the skull is elongated, 13+ meter is estimated from foot prints + skull estimate. Skull along would suggest 12-13 meter.

Yeah, I was talking about American Torvo.

Maxilla of American torvo is 47 cm long.

Maxilla of European Torvo is 63 cm long.

Since American Torvo's skull is 118 cm long, then European Torvo's skull must be about 160 cm.

BTW Fang, I heard there was also a partial femur of a Torvo estimated to be 11 meters long, is that true or not?

Oh yeah and when I said about 160 cm I meant based on the ratio with the maxilla to skull.

That's not Torvosaurus tanneri (kimmeridgian of morrison formation) but an unnamed genus/species of torvosaurid megalosauroid which comes from tithonian of lourinha formation
And what's the source for 12-13 m footprins?

No, YOU are the one who says there are footprints from 12-13 m specimens, therefore YOU ARE THE ONE SUPPOSED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SOURCE

Allosaurus fragilis specimen AMNH 5767-~12 metres (maximum)
Torvosaurus tanneri specimen ML 1100-~13 metres (maximum)
Saurophaganax maximus specimen OMNH 1935-~13 metres (maximum)

It's worth noting that all 3 specimens of these 3 taxa are known from very poor fossil evidence, especially the Torvosaurus and Saurophaganax specimens (a 630 mm long maxilla for the former and a 545mm long humerus for the latter), so any size estimate is just that, an estimate.

there is a 11m allosaurus called: "allosaurus" tendagurensis.

european torvosaurus based on a 1.58m skull would b...

158/131 times 11m= 13.2m.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
