Velociraptor vs Troodon

Two small raptors come face to face.
Who would win?

Troodon wasn't a raptor. Anyway, Troodon was bigger and smarter.

Velociraptor had bigger teeth and claws though, and it was more agile and faster etc. Velociraptor is more advanced in killing which would give it the advantage.

Velociraptor hunted Proceratops,Troodons hunted small mammals.Velcoiraptor was built to kill,the Dromaeosauridae family is armed with much better weaponry than the Troodontids.

Why wouldn't Troodon hunt like raptors do? how do you know? I mean, you can see this in Smilodon and Panthera Leo Atrox. Just cuz Smilo had all the cool weaponry means that the lion hunts small animals. How do you know Troodon didn't hunt the same way as raptors do? Just cuz it doesn't have the killer sickle?!

if a Velociraptor hunted Proceratops Troodons also hunted big dinosaurs because they were the same kind of animal

Giganotosaurus will win. its the only dinosaur that was a carnivore, the rest were herbivores

In fact Troodon is the most likely to hunt in packs and bring down huge animals because it had the intelligence of a dog.

Compare the skeletons of Troodontids and a Dromaeosaurid,you'll see that the Troodontids are far more gracile and was built for speed,the raptors however are more robust and built for power.Now on to anatomy Troodon's teeth were smaller than those of the raptors and were once mistaken for Pachycephalosaur's teeth (Pachycephalosaurs are big game hunter?Very funny)?Further more Troodontids arms were shorter and the killing claw was smaller proportionately compared to a Dromaeosaurid so the Raptor's claws were good as stabbing and deal lots of damage, Troodons would be better at pinning down small animals.And to top it off seeds were found in a small Troodontid called Jinfengopteryx so now we have an omnivorous Troodontid which makes it likely that most other Troodontids were also omnivores.

Just cuz the troodons killing claw and teeth are smaller doesn't make it small mammal hunter. And raptors are gracile and they are all built for speed. Troodon most likely did hunt in packs cuz it is one of the most intelligent. That doesn't mean however, that Troodon wouldn't have occasionally eaten small mammals.

Those teeth of the Troodons simply COULD NOT even slice efficiently through the flesh of a juvenile Hadrosaur fact is they are not for killing big game and would deal only scratches to the Hadrosaurs cause from a distance,those teeth would barely be visible.
Now look how robust the limbs of the Velociraptor and compare that to the Troodon
The killing claw was obviously proportionately smaller and a big game hunter would not evolve something like that in the first place.The robustness is obviously for power.
Now look back at the Troodon it was FAR thinner like the silly dragonfly hunter Coelophysis and the neck was a bit longer probably for grabbing mammals but you see the neck although is long it's also thinner meaning less neck muscles and the same to the torso and other parts of the body,all thinner and which means it was light weight and fast but this structure greatly reduce durability,a whack from a Hadrosaur tail would cause serious injury to such a gracile creature.

I know about Da omnivorous Troodontid, and its teeth are not that small, and with the wideness it isn't much of a difference, and raptors hardly even used their teeth when bringing down other animals, and those limbs are both aren't that robust.+ a whack from a hadrosaur tail would cause serious injury to a raptor as well as a troodontid. You're saying it like Troodon is so fragile that it can't survive a tail whack, which it could but would be seriously injured. In some books they say that a whack from a hadro is like a hit from a baseball bat. It would do the same to Velociraptor as it would to Troodon. And then why would raptors develop such intelligence like Troodon did? They both were very intelligent, so that intelligence of Troodon was probably used for the same reason as raptors. I agree that they were both mammal hunters, but they most likely would have both hunted in packs.

Troodon's inttelect was based on brain to body size ratio and so is Velociraptor but a large proportion of the brain was contributed into night vision(which is most likely to hunt down small mammals at night when larger predators are sleeping). Troodon's teeth were around 0.5 cm long,Velociraptor's teeth were 0.8-1.2 cm long despite it being a bit smaller.The limbs are clearly more robust and longer like the torso,look carefully.Dromaeosauridae hardly use their teeth to bring down large animal?!?!?!?!?! LOL...Jaws are the theropod's most basic and primary weapons,a Theropod that hardly uses jaws to bring down large prey(if they are capable of) is either an omnivore or a herbivore and the larger sickle claw is also the same,they don't develop smaller sickle claws are worse at grabbing on and stabbing,Troodons would surely want their claws to be bigger if they were big game hunters.A baseball bat hit is comparable to a Sauropod's tail whack(it nearly broke the jaws of a baby Allosaurus),A Hadrosaur's tail was weaker for sure,robust and durable animals like Dromaeosauridae would likely be able to survive a hit,only the Alaskan Troodons stands a chance.Their are different intelligences how do you know Velociraptor and Troodons developed the same intelligent?Prove it and what does pack hunting has anything to do here?
