Tyranna2 wrote: <quoted text> Wrong, Blue Whale is. Amphicoelias Fragillimus is thought to be twice as long as the Blue Whale (60m) and in my opinion this overrights the fact that it weighs less than the Blue Whale. It should be called the largest animal ever.

It should be called the largest animal ever. Technically, the largest should be in terms of weight becuase length is only one dimension. I snake is really long but isn't super heavy so you wouldn't call it larger then a great white shark for example.

Weight shouldnt, as a pterosaur is obviously bigger than a sumo, but weight wise the sumo is heavier. See what i mean.

Mattking rex wrote: <quoted text> yeah but wasn't the question "largest animal"? Thats got to be blue whale. Not really, the question was,'Largest, Mesozoic marine reptile' But: Spinosaurus wrote: Liopleurodon is the biggest creature in history LOL!!! And the answer is Blue Whale. No other creature has yet been proved to be bigger, larger, heavier, longer, whatever. They are all suppositions made from fragment bones and fossils.

Tyranna2 wrote: <quoted text> Not really, the question was,'Largest, Mesozoic marine reptile'. Then it is Shonisaurus or something like that. Apparently there is a fragment of one being bigger, however, it isn't 100% reliable.
