A hunter of more advanced prey would require more intellect for strategy. Since Allosaurus hunted dinosaurs, it could possibly be smarter than Spinosaurus even though it was not as advanced. Remember, just because an animal has evolved for a longer period of time does not mean that it is smarter. Evolution does not work to keep all atributes that humans deem important. If Spinosaurus' ancestors did not need intelligence to be sucessful, that trait would likely dissapear through natural selection.

Much of that is true but Spinosaurus could probably hunt small to medium sized dinosaurs. So they are probably equally intelligent in that sense.

Spinosaurus is surprised as he feels a searing pain in his tail. He turns around, it is a famished allosaurus. Spinosaurus aims a blow at allosaurus's skull, but instead feels his attackers jaws close on his arm. Spinosaurus grabs allosaurus and flings him against a trumk of a tree. Allosaurus lays motionless. Spinosaurus returns to catching fish. Allosaurus is not yet dead, he was just stunned for a moment. He charges at spinosaurus and pounces on his side. He scores his claws down spinosaurus's side, leaving three deep gashes. Spinosaurus does the same to allosaurus, but it's too late as allosaurus quickly bolts and clamps its jaws on spinosaurus's throat and killing him. Although allosaurus feels a crippling pain in his side, he can now enjoy a long wanted meal.

A lone Allosaurus is walking toward a river that it normally drinks from, its feet making a soft thump every time they hit the ground. At 28 feet long he was a fully grown adult with much combat experience. The scars on its body proving that. As the predator reaches the rivers edge it notices an object protruding from the water. Before the thirsty beast can get a good look at the object, it sinks underwater out of view. The Allosaurus ignores it and begins to drink the much needed water. Out of the corner of its eye it sees the object from before heading straight toward it! A giant beast beast leaps out of the water with a mouth full of teeth. The frightened predator quickly jumps away but not without having one of the teeth pierce his flank. Another scar to add to his collection. The Allosaurus gets his first good look at his new adversary. At 55 feet long this was an adult Spinosaurus with plenty of his own scars. As both predators stare each other down roaring the Spinosaurus makes the first move lunging at the smaller fighter with his mouth wide open. The Allosaurus quickly jumps out of the way delivering at quick bite on the larger predators flank. The now enraged Spinosaurus roars in pain and swings its tail out its smaller foe managing to hit the head of its target. The Allosaurus stumbles back from the hit now slightly dazed. However it quickly regains focus and retaliates by quickly biting his enemy's hand. The Spinosaurus feels the sharp teeth slicing into his arm and swings it throwing the smaller creature off. The Spinosaurus looks at its own hand and is shocked and further enraged by seeing that one its claws are gone. The Allosaurus sees its chance and charges at his opponent with a bite aimed for the neck. However the Spinosaurus sees the attack coming and using its other arm swings at the head of the shorter Allosaurus. The charging creature sees the arm coming but can't move out of the way quick enough and feels a searing pain through his skull before the world goes black. The gargantuan creature smiles seeing the now dead Allosaurus. A worthy foe it thinks as it enjoys its new meal.

Spinosaur wins, in the range of 70/30 or higher, I mean Spinosaurus was at least 4 times it's weight, twice it's power, etc. agility is really the only thing that Allosaurus has.

Spinosaurus wins by 80/20 , spinosaurus is more bigger, it has a big brain , it is more powerful if it hits the allosaurus with those giant claws on its arms and if it grab the allosaurus by its jaws allosaurus will die, and if an allosaurus saw a spinosaurus allosaurus will never attack spinosaurus, it will run away

Spinosaurus would win 99/1 because it has an enormous size advantage plus its claws are in the right place to give Allosaurus a killer blow the head. I would only think Allosaurus would win if he had buddies with him because then one Allosaurus could distract the Spinosaurus whilst the others attacked the Spinosaurus from behind.

Learn about Dinosaurs... The Spino doesnt stand a chance? Why? Cause Allosaurus hunts in packs. Three of them would jump the Spino and it would die. That simple
