i'm doing some research for my final project.
My research is about dissolution of glibenclamide in many drug products.
i need information about cosolvent that can enhance the solubility of glibenclamide in buffer solution PH1.2
i've already tried 10%methanol to dissolved 0.15g glibenclamide then i added buffer solution PH 1.2ad.1L.
But it didn't give any absorbance. Do you know what should i do?
Any help would be appreciated.

if you dilute glibenclamide in methanolic HCl 0,1 M you will have absorbance, with a maximum at 300 nm and a less intense maximum at 275 nm

i want to carry out dissolution of glibenclamide in Hcl buffer pH 1.2,but it is not possible, so i selected pH 4.0 for dissolution media in acidic region. This pH was selected on the basis of pka (5.3)property of drug, can i do it or not. |

for preparing buffer pH 1.2(gastric simulated)you should dissolve 2g NaCl and 7 ml Conc HCl in 1000ml of water and adjust pH with HCl and NaoH
