Samoa News has recently learned that Ofu is the site of one of the Pacific's most significant archaeological finds in recent memory, and working on that island currently is a group of archaeology professors and students continuing an investigation there, which began in the last years of the last century.

It will perhaps redirect new thoughts and understanding of Ancient Polynesian people. If plain ware pottery and Lapita designed pottery came from different groups of migrators. What does this mean for the traveling routes of these people and where did they end up.…Where does these plain ware pottery originate from? Please no haters...
