Police in Schenectady are looking for a man who they say raped a woman Wednesday in a parking garage at 650 Franklin St.

I work in that area- not the MVP building but nearby. There is no security to speak of. Especially at night. It is not safe. I feel bad for that poor woman. I hope she will be OK. I also hope they get this creep before he attacks someone else.

Has there been any new information on this case? I haven't seen anything in
the paper. ITs a scary thing to think someone was raped in downtown Scheenctady in the day time and no one saw anything. |

The police have been all over the place down here. I have faith they will catch him. Be safe, carry pepper spray, wear a whistle, and don't go out alone if you can help it. Another one happened in Albany also in a parking garage over the last day or two. Different desciption of the attacker. |

I work in the downtown schenectady area as well about 5 minutes away from where it happened and it is very scary that happened in the broad daylight and nobody saw anything i work night shift and do not leave work until midnight if that can happen in broad daylight can u imagine what he could do at night? Does anyone know if there are any updates about this guy.

Haven't heard any updates.
Can you walk out with another person? Move your car closer to an exit? Do you have a panic alarm on your car? If so start it before you walk out. That's what I've been doing. |
