I have tried MonaVie several times in the past, never enough to make any kind of judgment on it. Then the other night a friend of ours invited us to a "meeting". I felt like I was listening to a timeshare sales pitch. The presenters claims were just outrageous, unbelievable and downright illegal. He claimed tohave hemmoraging in his eye that would leave him blind every few weeks and was threatening to leave him permanently blind until he found this life saving product. On top of that he told me it would help with diabetes, high blood pressure arthritis and other ailments.
What really tipped me off to the scam that it really is was when he went through the presentation and right on the screen representing the business model was a pyramid.
I have taken the product over the last few days and I can honestly say I have felt no different at all. I figured I'd try it since they gave it to me. The taste is a little weird. Similar to a V8. Overall not impressed. If you're looking to get rich quick, take the $200-300 a month you're gonna blow on this business venture and play the lotto.

Miracle products aren't real folks. The only things that keep you healthy are exercise, a balanced diet, and an active mind (school, work, ect...). The easy way is not the smart way :S Lol, how many people wouldn't be diebetic if they or their parents didn't eat the fast easy packaged crap food they do? On that note, Monavie probably causes diabetes or some sort of cancer.

wow... put an opinion in, and get fucking blasted! I wasnt defending them! All I am saying is that it does work for some! Ive seen the deposits into sellers accounts from the company, Ive gone to many one on one meetings with family members who sell it, they sell it, they make money. It IS a pyramid scheme but pyramid schemes work for some if they are devoted to it. They believe in the product enough to make others believe in it. And I'm not saying the product actually works. Thats definitely a scam. But they believe in it enough to sell it, and the members of my family who sell it, make bank off of it. I dont sell it, myself but I suck at sales. Selling this stuff is just a matter of skill but if your good at it (and REALLY good at it), it will make you money. But the product itself.... pure crap!

Hi,
Interesting, when I go to the BBB and look up Monavie the MLM company has an A+ rating. I didn't follow your link because, frankly, who knows where one would end up. I also checked out the FDA, the letter was sent to a person Kevin Vokes who sells the stuff. Apparently the actual producers of the juices have not made any such statements. Or perhaps they are very careful about who they tell. At any rate what's the big deal about pyramid schemes? I thought those are only a problem when they involve promising people riches for no work or selling/giving away stuff that doesn't exist.

Educate me.

I got sucked into this scam 2 years ago but thankfully only lasted 3 months, I did buy the juice and drank it, not a bad taste I actually liked it but for that price I can get the same quality juice for 10000% less the money, the people making money on this are the ones who got into the scheme early, the rest of us were just suckers paying high dollar and wasting time trying to convince family and friends to join the Pyramide and in many occasions I have lost the credibility and at times their friendship. Monavie is indeed a modern kind of Pyramide that allows you to at least have the product after spending the money on orders to keep your spot current on the lifeline of the pyramid, in my honest opinion, its a legitimate SCAM in other words try it at your own risk!

Maybe everyone on this topic really should go back to school and re-educate themselves exactly what a pyramid scheme actually is! The fact is that companies like Amway and Monavie are not pyramid schemes at all but instead sell their products through network marketing. Instead of the big food stores making all the profit, these companies allow the average person to make some money as well!

Check this out....

http://pyramidschemealert.org/a-european-cour...

If the Belgium courts define Herbalife an illegal pyramid scheme, then what does that say about companies like Monavie in America? The courts their found that Herbalife had a big drop out rate and missing customers. Most everyone that joins, lose. They didn't like the fact that distributors are the customers. Here are some of the points on the website....

1.) It showed that Herbalife is not a direct selling company.

2.) The court also rejected Herbalife’s claim (which is also made by many other MLM companies) that its salespeople can be classified as “retail customers.”

Now if the regulators in the USA can learn from this.

Fastest growing company in America, a billion in sales, moving to other countries, the Boston Red Sox endorse it, its been on magazine covers, the acai is established, I can go on. I drink it, I get results. Is it a miracle drink? NO, just a catalyst for better health. Would you like to diversify your income and get a little healthier at the same time?
Bottom line, quality product at a quality cost. The more people you help, not just sign em up, the less the cost will be for you. Wellness and Networking are the next big trends just like Technology was 20 years ago. It's just going to happen and you cannot stop it.
Shut your mouth. Your a lier too. The stuff is bs and it taste like crap.

Many of you on this forum are confusing pyramid schemes with legit network marketing, MLM's, and community marketing companies. Pyramids only sell distributorships with no real products attached to them. True network marketing companies have products that are acually offered to the general public. Granted some of the products of some of these companies many not live up to all the claims that the distributors make but that does not make them scams or pyramids. A true pyramid makes money only for those who get in early. A true network marketing company will make money for distibutors no matter when they get involved because they are selling a real product. Please don't lump all these companies under the banner "pyramid scheme."

Pyramid schemes can and often do involve a product (used as bait)-- they are referred to as product-based pyramid schemes.

As for Monavie, well that's a pyramid scheme.
