Like lots of families in SD, we are having a hard time making ends meet. WHERE in SD are there cheap or low priced groceries to buy? Where can I go to get my family food without it costing so much?

you know, it is not only the cost of the food it is the taxes involved, the cost of living, and the shipping to get it to and around california from different parts of the country. with that being said, you obviously are not a native of san diego. i always scratch my head when i see people who are native of this state struggling. NO DOUBT when this is read i am going to hear how your man is in the military deployed, in jail, or some other heart wrenching story. yea, yea,...whatever. i get it. here are the facts for the vast majority of people regardless how pitiful they act. straight to the point. if you came to california chasing a dream, a job, or just figuring you were going to come here and start over it obviously has not worked out for you that is why you are on here trying to find "cheap food". if your man is in the military or jail maybe you should consider moving back to your state and having his military money directed to your bank account there. dont want to hear shit about military housing being next to nothing. obviously is not cheap enough or you would not be on here begging. if he is in jail i dont know what to say except maybe you should consider turning a trick or two. it just kills me how people talk about bad times when a lot of it is self imposed. a good majority of homes forclosed on during this "housing crisis" is because people got caught up in all the hooplah a few years ago and made bad decisions financially. bank were throwing money around and idiots were buying houses with monopoly money thinking the bottom would never hit. DORKS. now this nut is talking about "cheap food". this isnt like the great depression where people in this country hit genuine bad times and pulled together to help each other. most of this is self imposed and happening because of bad choices. if you cant afford rent or food get the heck out of dodge. go where you can provide. get some pride about yourself and stop begging on line. my god! gina wrote: Like lots of families in SD, we are having a hard time making ends meet. That guy is a looney.... If you are seeking LOWER PRICES (not a handout) you obviously show responsibility and COMMON SENSE. To think that people pursuing paying less is looking for a handout? "This isnt like the great depression where this country hit genuine bad times" You are an idiot

If the person asking about low food prices were a native of California they would know about "food 4 less" as well as "Smart and Final", and other discount place's. After all, California is a transient state, and if a great majority of people can crack on Mexican's and sending them home then somebody living in a trailer park can expect a little grief. This person just conveyed their point very distastefully.

NO ONE has asked for freebies and even if they did, so what? If you don't want to help, say NO! But these people asked for a place to shop that has low prices, that's all! Didn't you clowns read it? And what's with all the hate and trashing people? Mean and nasty is what you losers are.
