Those pesky Harbor Activists need to leave people alone. It is not their position to yell at people.

these nuts have got to go. Its been ruled upon and the furbags have bred for hundreds of years without the CHILDREN's POOL. Its black and white and why the police continue to let these environmental terrorists harass the public is outrageous. if these enviro-nutjobs cared about life's real problems maybe we can change this world.Get a clue, we are not going to solve the worlds problems one seal at at time. What!!! Lake Mead will dry up in the ear future and we will have no water to drink. Thats OK, because fuzzy seal has an other day to get it on on a protected beach...

I was there the night of the diver video, and those guys were in serious trouble. One of our group even called 911 as a precaution. It took the divers almost 1 hour to get into the beach from only 200 yds out, a distance they should have covered in 15-20 minutes. About 2 years ago a diver drowned at this area when he was caught in the current and died trying to make S Casa on the south side of the Children's Pool. Conditions that night were not as rough. Perhaps he was trying to avoid confrontation with the self appointed saviours of the seals.
The APRL group did not care one bit about the human life, only the seals. I wonder how much they take in from their little table each day? Could that be why they "care" about the seals so much.

Clearly The Seal Activist over-reacted-which in my opinion, Is A common practise amoung, Those who profess Love and admiration of Nature and Her Creatures.
I base my opinion, on the reals of News Footage, depicting The Infamous GreenPeace tactics, commonly imployed to Halt Any Action The Groups Members determine to be detrimental!!!
In my opinion, Environmental Protection and Conservation is logically sound and every Americans Responsibility. Take notice of the steps taken to reintroduce Wolves back into its believed roaming ranges. Look at the steps taken to protect The Great White Shark, from extermination out of ignorance-due to The Movie: Jaws.
I don't consider myself to be the extremeists version of a Tree-Hugger!!! But, I do respect the efforts taken by Anti-Brazilian Rain Forest Deforestation Proponents, etc. Heck, look at the steps being taken in Africa by Teams of International Conservationists and in surrounding areas to Protect Myraids of Anmial Species-from poaching, etc.

So, I say to La Jolla Seal Activists-mellow out!!!!

I was one of the SCUBA divers shot in the night home video. AS "not a seal hater" says, my dive buddy and I were in serious trouble. We were stuck in rip current for over an hour. We were trying to make it in Childrens Pool as this was the most protected area from crashing waves into exposed reefs and rocks. As we finally did make it in we also had to avoid the crashing waves from hammering us into the rocks. This was a real serious ordeal my dive buddy and I were into. We were greeted by John Leek shown in the video and others making sure we were okay. They told us they were even on the phone with lifeguards. I highly appreciate their concern not only for their fellow divers but their fellow human beings. But, on the other side were the seal activist that were yelling, being angry at us, and accusing us for breaking a federal law. My goodness!, we finally made it on land and narrowly escaped some real serious danger and these seal activist had no care in the world for their fellow human being in a time of need.

What were they(kids) going to do to the seals?Kill them for their blubber because they hadn't eaten that day,or maybe they were going take it upon themselves to emulate the murderous Bas**rds who club seal kits, and tan their hides after a swim? I'm quite sure that if they were posing a threat to these mammals, the mammals themselves would have let them know. Some people go overboard in search of their 15 minutes of fame.
