Just what did Bersin do to English? Did he damage it somehow?
Bad Bersin! Bad!
Bersin's whole effort to make "A" students is good, I guess. But his war on "B" and "C" students backfired, as his super-plus 6.0 GPA "A" students are still nonfunctional. They can't write any better now than they could before. Notice the little red spell check lines that show up on words you don't spell right? Like this wone. Red line all over the place as I type it. Those little red lines weren't on all the web sites when I first got my computer, maybe four years ago.

As we all know, the local Coleman College has a great influence in what we see, hear, and type on our computers. Bersin was grade school, but his impact on the county was felt everywhere. So, now these super-smart students are on the Web. Great, but they still need red spell check lines on every single site all across the planet. And these aren't just for ESL typists, they're for home grown ones, too.

Bersin's people can make 10.0 GPA "A" students, but these little red lines still say "C."

And Greg Sanchez from Financial Aid is a liar! So's Ms. Henny, the SDCCD Online Course Dean. Those are two liars right there.
Yeah, Henny's a good example of what's not supposed to be working with a school. She's a real liar and a waste of taxpayer money.

You know how they work that PELL scam at SDCC? It's a racket in itself. Stay well away from this cesspool of a school.

Mesa and Miramar are colleges run by con artists. Their whole financial aid setups are for who they favor. Don't go to either.

Try Grossmont College. It is one of the most prestigious community in the nation. My older son graduated there and my younger one attends now as awell as my nephew. Foreign students. as well, come from all over the world. The professors are excellent! Not what I hear about Mesa and Miramar. Good luck!

And why is Johnny such a delinquent? It's because that's the way SDCCD was designed.

It's curfew for Johnny now.

Well, I know they mess with your GPA's a lot in the SDCCD, no matter what school you go to. The last online class I took I really had to argue for my grade, it was like the teacher (if it really was the teacher, it was probably just some student aides or something) actually tried to short me a grade or two. And when I took a class at SDCC, my GPA didn't change at all, even though I got a B in it. Lucky to get that B, too, as the test answers only matched those in the text if you had a really creative mind.

So, big deal, community college is just for fun anyway, as everyone in it's rejects from continuation school. Except when you try to get an every-day type job, then you find the jerks who think their grade really means something. If it did, they'd be management somewhere important, they wouldn't be warehouse workers or truck drivers. Human resources, a real scam in the SDCCD.

Do they really work there? Or are they just weirdos wandering around? They better be real employees, because if they're not supposed to access your school records, you have a legitimate beef.

Grossmont College is a backward, filled with nutty teachers and personnel , college, too! A real waste of time to go to. ALWAYS avoid the community colleges. They have the losers no one else wanted to hire!

I guess I have to agree with that. Back before there were junior or community colleges, about the only teachers you'd find were at public grade schools or universities. There weren't any other kinds of schools, except certain trade schools. Teaching was an elite profession then. Now, there's so many different types of colleges, so many jobs for teachers, it's lessened the requirements for a teaching credential so all the jobs can be filled.

I mean, there's the community colleges, Maric, Coleman, Foundation, and the other types of "independent" colleges, there's literally dozens of them in San Diego alone. And all wanting expensive tuition, and all offering financial aid. How much money does that come to, anyway, if all those classes were filled?

Financial aid in community college, like BOGg. Not many people's incomes are so low to qualify for BOGg, unless they're disabled or on welfare. If someone does use BOGg who isn't in one of those categories, and isn't technically an "other" or a minority of some kind, you find out where the racket is. The teachers and persons behind all the financial aid scams are really proficient at bilking the student out of his post-graduate life and his actual education.

Is there a need for all these schools?

Yeah, you're right with that! They can kiss their GPAs "good day," is my guess!

Some places give pass/fail grades, no letter value, just pass or fail. They give you university credits, too. State universities have to accept those grades just as much as letter grades. So, technically, those grades, if transferred into letter grades, would affect GPAs. As they stand, they don't, they just give you university credits which is all that they're designed to do and really all a student needs. So, a GPA is not an accurate reflection of a student's scholastic success. Proven, pwned, whatever, it's true.

I really like hearing Bersin's 100.0 GPA students brag themselves around town. Oh, look, Bersin's name gets a little red spell check line under it even as it's typed! Oh, no!
