I remember the time period you're talking about. That's when Alan Bersin got kicked out of the federal government and got a job with the elementary schools. Remember the pictures of the protesting students that were in the papers? Picket signs that said "There's No 'A' In 'Trying?'" There's no "A" in "Bersin," either, if you haven't noticed.

But Bersin was grade school, and we're talking about college here. There's lots of "A's" in "Financial Aid," but that doesn't mean I really want to use it. Bersin brought his double A+ philosophy to the lower grades, and that's been proven to be unfeasible, it didn't work. His 6.0 GPA students are still illiterate, he hasn't changed anything and now they're in the local colleges wondering what happened. What happened was Bersin got fired from the feds and he should have left town instead of slumming in the SD grade schools.

But this is college. Sanchez and Henny are liars? They must be Bersinians. A reason for no Creationism studies in school, as they're just lying little monkeys. Hey, remember "Bedtime for Bonzo?" Now it's "Bedtime for Bersin!"

Hey, that Peters fellow at Mesa is head of the Math Department now. That's one bad choice, I tell you. That man isn't qualified to head any department anywhere.

Lots of people noticed that. They said it.

I remember that. It was suggested that he do something else, but he chose to be the department's head. He's caused some damage, it's a shame.

hgse77: man , you are an antique. Things have changed since you went to school. Now it's all about money and who likes who in administration and financial aid. NO one helps you unless they get something for it. Usually they pass the buck or give you hell. At Mesa, they can change the rules whenever they want to and you cannot appeal it. No kidding. It's in the forms they make you sign. The school is the sh!ts. To anyone who reads this: DON"T go there. It's a dunghole.

Really? Peters is the head of the Math Department? That's not right, especially not since what happened to Dr. Van Atta. Remember Van Atta? And then they made the movie "Spawn," and spoofed Van Atta with the character "The Violator." I think that's kind of mean.

See the similarity in the movie? It's those stupid girl coeds there, like that other poster said. Don't let them around your homework or anything.

Personally, I know that there's an Andrew Hoffman who teaches English at Mesa. And there used to be a Harcourt Brace Jovanovich college in Texas (Hoffman uses Harcourt Brace texts). But now you can't Google the school anywhere, you can't find it. And that happened right around the same time that the Harcourt building in SD moved a block or two over, and dropped the Jovanovich part. Did you notice that?

There's lots of small colleges in San Diego, like Coleman (hate that place) and Maric. Now there's a new Ashford.edu along Hwy. 15. Are they better than SDCCD? My guess is no. Are they worse? How?

I hope not. I can't forget that Human Resources office. What a joke. You know the labor racket they got started around town?

I still remember some skunk school worker saying something like "You have to take it to where your money comes from." What or who is "it?" Whoever "it" is doesn't want to see where my money comes from. I guess I'd like to show them, though.

Connie Renda works right by Knox Attorney Service. Corrupt more than you know. I'll explain it sometime.

Does that have something to do with the Bersin/Krysiak federal thing? That lawsuit where Krysiak was listed as a federally protected defendant, when he actually wasn't? They put Renda right by Knox?

Yeah, that explains a lot of Bersin and his "teachers."

Didn't there used to be a McGraw-Hill in town? What happened to that?

Well, I know that Garcia election at SDCC was wrong. Remember "Herb?" Wrong there, too.

Incredible how Henny and Sanchez can get away with lies like that. I mean, that's real bad. Our tax dollars are paying for people like them? Nope, not me. They're off my payroll.

Wouldn't even give them foodstamps.

Why would they have anything called "diplomat testing" at SDCC?
And what exactly is "English forensics?" I have no idea what it could be, but they have contests here in SD for it. It must be Bersinisan, so that's not SDCCD, but still!

I always relate "forensics" with the coroner's office. So, would this have something to do with deceased Englishmen? Or rather, the demise of the English language? Just what did Bersin do to English? Did he damage it somehow?

Bad Bersin! Bad!

San Diego Union Tribune, Sunday May 18, 2008

Front page story, COLLEGES SEE BIG FUNDING, SLOW PROGRESS re: San Diego Community College building/construction projects. Focus of the article IS NOT academic programs! Don't stone me! I'm only the messenger--an "antique" one poster labeled me. After my stints at Mesa, City and Harvard, he/she can't begin to imagine my value and worth as an "antique!!" Each poster has a valid complaint and/or a legitimate gripe! Don't let your disappointments circulate as hot air!! If you don't STAND for something, you'll FALL FOR ANYTHING!!

Neither's the focus of the texts they use there anymore. I guess there's no "A" in education. Nope, there's one there. But it doesn't count in SDCCD.

I think their online classes are worth mentioning. I'd like to take a math class that was fully online. That'd be worthwhile, soon's they figure out how to give mid-terms and finals online. Last I checked they still make you go on campus for those.

In a way, but not in another way. Notice the student's names? Have you taken an online class? Some of those names look just like the pseudonyms that're used on sites like this. I mean, all of us have strange names to persons from places different from where ever it is that we call home, we're used to seeing Chinese or Arabic names now (Barack Obama, huh?). But some of the enrolled names in online classes just don't seem right. And at the end of the semester, those names have dropped out or left the course incomplete. That would be in keeping with their fakeness.

But maybe they're some kind of monitors. But, often times when you look at the online class roster, a group will be listed separately. They've already made allowances for this.

So, I don't know, some of the online courses might have online fake things, too. Notice how tuition dropped back down to $20? Hmmm...

One word, "owl." Owl? Owl describes the labor racket that SDCC has at the present.

That's one ghetto mentality.

Don't let the "mess" that is Mesa and City stifle who you are as a student and what you hope to accomplish for yourself. TAKE the good the school has offer, use it to your benefit and GROW ON! That's my tried and proven "ancient/antique" advice.

Obvious you never used the Human Resources at SDCC or Mesa. You really wouldn't have retired at all, not even when you're 89. These people don't find you jobs, they steal them. Just like they steal the publishing companies and put their garbage in their texts.

They shouldn't dare charge tuition for their garbage.

Times have changed.

Yeah! Remember "Steal this Book?" Well, guess we know where SDCCD students get their life philosophy from! Except the passive life style suggested back then has been made ominous now by the texts published by the stolen publishing houses! Read some of the textbooks used at Miramar (they have Administration of Justice classes there), you'll see where the damage has been done.

No, an ill wind blows across the state's campuses now, and its source is the SDCCD! Woe!
