I am not sure who the "Federation of San Rafael Neighborhoods" is, but i intend to find out.My family settled in Marin county in 1860.Save us from the people who are going to save us from ourselves who wish we could be like them.
I will see you at the meetings. I will be exposed for who you are and what your motives are.I will go to your neighborhoods and see what we can do to improve your street and make your life better and more like I think it should be.I hope to find happy people who are happy to live in Marin instead of New York city. They couldn't save N.Y., so they will save us.
I urge and invite everyone to attend these meetings and monitor there visions before it is too late. The outspoken minority can radically change our lives if gone unchallenged.

We live in a capitalist society. Capital is king. No money? Go away. That's the way it is. Get over it.
It's not going to change (well, it will get worse). The richest 1% of Americans own 30% of the economy. The richest 19% own 50 percent of the economy.

Those who own the stuff get the power.
And the wealth has been concentrating into fewer and fewer hands. It takes money to make money, you've heard. This is what it means. The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. God Bless America. LOL

The biggest mess is the canal area.

Should have building and fire inspections on each unit of each building. Someday there will be a firestorm in this area due to lack of enforcement of building and occupancy codes.

Unsafe wall heaters, hotplates, exposed wiring, etc.

Don't agree that its an eyesore, but in any case, it is a working boat yard, in a zone of other light industry. And its been there forever. Patterson sounds like the guy who moves next to the airport, than complains about the jets.
I know Butler. He's a diamond in the rough, and so is his yard. His crane work is a water ballet. Patterson wants a zirconium yard. More about the luster than the substance.

Hey Patterson, I see that you were photographed behind a gate, on private property. Were you there with permission? If not, I would suggest that you turn yourself in to the San Rafael Police Department, or be subject to citizens arrest as a Known Trespasser , General Dipswitch and Moron.

This is the best yacht harbor on the West coast Matt Butler is a hardworking man with a big heart ,sure ,the boats aren't all pretty and perfect ,so what? This harbor has a great community very little crime and is great for DIY haul outs ,hey even the Tiburon fire dept.bring their boat over here for haul out and service .I was in a construction accident and broke my back, thanks to the kindness of the community at the harbor I was able to recuperate on a boat there,my alternative would to have been homeless after surgery as renting an apt. In Marin is very expensive.
