I know first hand Stockton is getting worse, I agree every city has it's crimes but the size of Stockton compared to larger cities has more violent crimes, but let's keep cutting law enforcement jobs and divisions with in the law enforcement because the city has a budget problems, makes perfect sense doesn't it?

Oh yeah perfect sense. We have cut the fire dept. also. Now two trucks have to show up before anyone gets started working on your fire or medical emergency. There's only three men on a truck now thanks to measure 8.

But we have that nice arena we can all go to and be mugged on our way back to the car. We have that Bob Hope theater which never has seen a profit. And with Jerry Brown cutting all the redevelpoment funds from the State budget all the improvements will be for nothing.

Well with the fire department it also has to do with "AMR" having a contract with the city, it's all a joke!! I wish the city would do an audit to see how many people have died due to the stupidity of the AMR staff...

sorry to tell you who ever you are but regardless of what initiated the confrontation the truth is that kevin was killed, who the fuck carries a knife with them if not waiting for it to be used, kevin was murdered and thats a fact, kevin was a great kid i was his girlfriend for 2 years before he even moved to stockton and he had a great heart. regarless of what ur friend tells you or what your opinion is he did not deserve to die. he was only 16 and had a long life ahead of him . i spoke with him 2 weeks before his death and he was happy to hear from me and we were talking about all the great times we had and i know that he is with god , he was still a kid. i love his family and although they might not like me no more i know their pain and the last thing they need is some dumb ass person talking shit about their loved 1. i know u are resting kevin , u turning 19 this year friend miss u a lot friend.......

Kevin Salazar was not murdered you idiot. He tried to rob someone and his gun jammed. He got stabbed by someone who knew self defense. Go buy a clue and come back to see us. If he was murdered, why isn't anyone in jail? Did you look at his MySpace? He was a gang member in the photos. The only pain that is out there is the ones that had to go through being robbed by some punk 16 wanna be gang member. His death is a plus for society. When will you join his ignorance?
