Osby has as much chance as succeeding as the Public did in convincing him and the Funded 4 not to give Police a raise in 2010.

This is just another pray and a hope that has little if any chance.

Instead of going to Sacramento ,the Incompetent Five should be locked in a room and forced to contemplate the errors of their ways. They need to write an apology to the Citizens of Vallejo for making our finanical situation worse and then resign in mass.

Distressed cities dont pay their firefighters 150K per year. Oh, sorry, thats why we are distressed.

Anybody heard anything new regarding the Henke suicide watch. I heard someone saw him standing on the Carquinez the other day, looking like he might jump. Someone pulled out a bottle of Jack Daniels and lured him off the ledge.

Really, I think it's time the Council/City/Mayor find themselves at the business end of a lawsuit instigated by the citizens of Vallejo.

Vallejo for its size has the highest crime rate in Calif, something to be really proud of.

It was not that way before bankruptcy.

Some facts about city council member Steph Gomes

Fact 1: She headed a citizen group that stalled the waterfront development long enough (2 years) for the downturn in economy to make it economically untenable.

Fact 2: She favored/supported TRIAD for downtown development AND the takeover of the waterfront development past the beginning of the state/nation economic downturn.

Fact 3: She opposed the free (to the City) EIR for the LNG/power plant construction.

Fact 4: She opposed Walmart and by extension any development that resembles the AmCan Walmart complex.

Fact 5: Cheerleader for selling TOURO the North End of MI for $1 only to have the entire project evaporate.

Fact 6: Wanted an established business on the North End of MI to relocate so it would not be positioned next to the TOURO project that never even got close to moving a shovel of dirt.

Fact 7: Gomes is rude and disrespectful.

Fact 8: She is an “expert” in things she knows nothing about. She is attention seeking.

Fact 9: She has failed in gaining anything positive in 4 years.
