Friday Night Football Sound-Off

I cant wait to see the Friday night Game of the week. I think Grant and Franklin will be a good shootout. No telling who will come out ontop thisyear.

The Clarksburg Saints JV team is lead by almost all Freshmen...they won Biggs last week 43 to 2 and won tonight 9-7-07 48 to 0...they have a great team seem's...

Well the Foothill Mustang and Alan Berg Era sure got off to a wimper. Everyone blamed Frank Negri for staying around the game way to long and being unable to produce winners. Well Berg doesnt seem to be getting the job done any differently

Sad that one of our PROFESSIONAL teams (The Rivercats) is in the playoffs, and they get NO coverage, yet NEWS 10 has plenty of staff to cover a bunch of high school games that most of us don't care about.

I seen a different Highlands High School football team on friday night. The kids and coaching staff all work as one. It is nice to see all the fans coming out to support the Scots.This is agreat team!

Hi Wayne, you must not have been a football player in high school or have any children who have been! High school football is VERY important, not only is it a chance to highlight the positive things that our youth are involved in these days, but it also encourages younger children, parents and families to really get involved in their schools. Too often our children don't have that and at times it seems to be that we only focus on all the negative things that they do. So don't ruin there spotlight, i think that what NEWS 10 is doing is GREAT!!! Not to mention that its only ONE night a week!!! The Rivercats team maybe Professional, but their goal is to move on into the major leages to make MONEY!!! I salute NEWS 10 and all their staff for their hard work in supporting all our local schools and giving our children a chance to shine!!!
