First story in a LONG time that has made me smile, ear to ear! Such a blessing for her!:) And I don't blame her one bit for wanting to remain anonymous...

She beat the astonomical odds. Good for her! Since she was dumb enough to buy lotto tickets, I am glad to see that she's smart enough to seek professional tax and investment advice. I hope she doesn't go to a investment salesman and goes to a fee only planner so she doesn't get ripped off there. Hopefully this will have a good ending and not one like we hear of so often where ignorant folks win the lotto and are bankrupt 3 years later. After taxes she'll have about 500K so I hope she is wise with it.

I can't believe that you are that ignorant, but you probably are. Read the odds of winning next time. Your chance of getting hit by lightning several times on the way to the store to get the ticket are higher than winning. The vast majority of folks buying lotto tickets can't afford to play. You probably think that Reno and Vegas were built to excess with everyone winning at the casinos too LOL. Oh boy, another Lake County brainiac in our midst.

Thank you so much. You have given me hope that there are still decent people out there, who aren't corrupted by money. Prove that money doesn't make us who we are we do. Congrats you deserve it.

I did the math and for all practical purposes I had the same odds of winning as she did and I never bought a ticket. That means I saved $5.

Regardless of the chances some of us can waste $5 on absolutley nothing, so why not try to make some money back. If you dont win....ok you dont but to this one CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

It may be a good idea for you to use spell check prior to proclaiming that someone else is dumb. "Astronomical"
