I think this is terrific! Driving to Arden or Roseville is such a pain.

Elk Grove already has too many Targets. They are building another one for this mall? I'll still be traveling to the Arden Mall then. I hate outdoor malls. Elk Grove sucks.

FYI! Elk Grove only has 1 Target. The Target on Cosumnes River Blvd at Bruceville is outside the city limits of Elk Grove.

Have you ever been to an outdoor mall??? Oak Brook Terrace, in Oak Brook, IL is very nice and guess what it snows there and people still shop there!

Outdoor malls are very nice. I recently had the pleasure of going to the outdoor mall in Walnut Creek. People walking around everywhere.

OTOH, Elk Grove already has too many malls. How much stuff do we need?

So sorry.

And, no I haven't been to the Illinois mall. I have been to the Downtown mall in Sacramento and I dislike it. Especially at Christmas time when I do my heavy mall shopping. Outdoor malls suck, and Targets are bountiful to Elk Grove residents no matter where the city line is.

I heard Macy's but never heard Nordstrom's. Do you think they will be happy to be in a trailer court mall with targets and red carts everywhere?

Give it a rest. The mall is supposed to be awesome, not for trailer trash people like you. You can just go to Florin mall.

This mall is not what some Elk Grove People voted for a while back yet most people are happy? Come on think about the traffic that will happen once it is open. Think about the crime that comes with a mall. Think about the how we will have to pay more for police cars driving through the parking lots. Please all of the so call excited people about the mall coming will be the first to move out of Elk Grove because now they cannot get home in time to have dinner because of the mall. Yet the people that have grew up here in Elk Grove stay here and shake there heads.

There will be no Macy's in Elk Grove! Are you kidding?? You're gonna get a Gottschalks instead...more in line with the Elk Grove types. And then a HUGE Layne Bryant and Dress Barn for all the heifers that live there as well. Oh yeah, and another Home Town Buffet for all your squealing, ill-behaved brats you call children. Have fun!

It might be an awesome mall for Capt Jack, his wife can shop at Lane Bryant and Dress Barn, while he shops for clothes at Target, then they meet at home town Buffet with the kids, what an evening!
