Immigrant privileges


If the immigrant is over 65 they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and in fact get more than my friend's Mom gets for Social Security for working from 1944 till 2004, only getting $791 per month (calculated on her DOB 1924 )and here's the "catch 22".


Interesting that the federal government provides a "single refugee" with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also obtain an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of 2470.00 /month.


This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 t O 50 years can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.


Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!


Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1, 012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470.00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.


Please forward to every American to expose what our elected politicians (Nancy P. Included) have been doing over the past 11 years - to the over-taxed American.

I just received the above email and thought I'd post it for anyone who would like to forward it to others. It's a sickening example of middle class America getting screwed in ANOTHER way.

AND OUT OF THE $791.00 MEDICARE PAYMENT IS TAKEN OUTSO SHE IS ONLY GETTING $701 to live on !!!!

If we need farm workers, there are over two million prisoners in the state prison system...some of those could be forced to work the fields.

If you think for one minute that Americans won't do construction work, you are wrong. My son was once refused work at a roofing company because he did not speak Spanish. He was told he wouldn't be able to communicate with his foreman.

Good point. They have ruined the construction trades in California. Employers don't have to pay for medical benefits either. The wages have been going down, bringing the standard of living down with it. I have friends who are contractors. They tell me it is very tempting to hire illegals. Cheap labor means lots more money in their pockets.

I have NO problem with legal immigration. Nor I think do most of the posters on this thread.

I want to remodel my house and went to Home Depo, after all the papers and the contract they gave me the date to have the job done. On the day that they came, they were all mexicans and couldn't speak a single word of english. I watched the work they did and not satisfied. Went back to HD and complain and they sent another team of mexicans and still did a lousy job. Mexicans are way too lazy...I got fed up and canceled the whole project. Sometimes I wondered if Hd just go ahead and hire those mexicans guys that standing around the shop, the illigals. What a shame!!!!!!!

Bravo Mr. Jones - it is often thrown in our faces that we are being so hard on these poor illegal immigrants...people keep removing the "illegal" part of the equation to make it sound like we're awful when we're just trying to preserve what we've all worked so hard for. Sure, if where you're from is such an awful place that you want to bring your family here and make a better life, come, but do it legally and you'll be received with open arms. Does anyone know the percentage of illegal immigrants that occupy our prisons? This is a HUGE number. Shouldn't we start the deportations there? Borders, language & culture are what defines a nation folks...lack of those things makes for a weak country.
