Verbiage for participants Marriage Ceremony:
Bride & Groom vs Party A & Party B.
Bridesmaid & Groomsman vs Partymaid & Partyman. Bridal Party vs Party Party.
Bridal Suite vs Party Suite.
Bridal Registry vs Party Registry.

Terms for same-sex marriage don't equal the eloquence & sacred ceremony of traditional marriage. Photos taken at some same-sex ceremonies show a bride and a groom or two brides or two grooms. Wording may have been revised but the visual wedding attire still spells "bride" or "groom" not "Party A" or "Party B". Is that why civil service ceremonies are preferred? Would stores have to be mandated to include "party registries" besides "bridal registries"? Regardless of the genderless verbiage, the traditional verbiage of bride and groom are still prevalent.

No one would be forced to alter their verbage, however with the rush of couples that will be saying their vows in the coming weeks, they would be losing a potential source of revenue. In todays economy I think it would be a stupid business decision, but again the government cannot mandate that they use certain words to describe their "product". Of course "bride" and "groom" will still be prevelant... They always will. The Homosexual population is a minority, and those choosing to get married are even fewer still. Once the intial glut is processed, the actual rate of homosexual marriages will be far less than that of heterosexual marriages... and that is only due to population size difference.
