Good morning, jimmyzgrl.
It's a lovely morning! Cold, but clear. Are you taking the kids out?, or are you choosing to stay home where it's warm and dry?

<quoted text>Hey Fifth....I am at work today...Daddy is doing his duty!! Since the lay off he is now daddy day care! They are all at home...school is out for my boy. Work will be slow for the next two weeks....I am NOT complaining. Slow is good sometimes. Have a good day. Stay warm.<3 JG
Hey, Daddy Day-Care can be the best. Especially at this time of year.

We had two older kids (five, six), and a baby at home. My spouse was attending school in the evenings, and I was working, days.

I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING, with my spouse at home. Diapers were changed, noses wiped, dinner prepared and clean-ups done. Our home ran as efficiently with my spouse home as it did with me at home. Differently, but, everything got done, so ... no beefs.

When my spouse had finished with schooling and went back to work (new category, MUCH higher pay), I was able to stay home again. By this time, the baby was a toddler of two.

So, Daddy Day-Care can be a wonderful way of encouraging your husband and kids to 'bond' in a way that just doesn't happen without that kind of day-in, day-out connection.

Staying warm is definitely a priority with me in this weather. You stay warm too, jimmyzgrl.

Hey Fifth.....Daddy day care is not sooo bad. Everything is not as organized as it would be if I were there( IM a serious stickler for that though!!!)He is doing fine and bonding with both kids nicely!!!
Jessi follows him around alot more now than she used to...and she runs to him to say "daddy wook it" (look it) when she is doing something cool. Its cute as all get out and I am cheered that its going well. He gets bored and needs to get out of the house everyday once i get there. Just for a breather...comes back and everything is okeedokee!!
Have a great day!Did ya get those birds fed yet???

Merry Christmas everyone!! I get to work this Christmas both today and tomorrow, so we are having our Christmas dinner on the 26th. I hated to be the guy who had to work this year and make the family wait on me. But someone must tend the terminal 24/7/365.

Have a safe and warm holiday folks!! I know I will.

Good morning, jimmyzgrl!

It sounds as though things are going as they should, between Jessi and her daddy. THAT is going to pay priceless dividends, in a decade or so. Yes, after a day with only the kidlets, I can understand Dad's need for a breather. That was why we were pleased that my spouse was enrolled in class --- plenty of adult-interaction, plus, I had plenty of time with the kids, myself, one-on-one.

In this weather, I fill the bird-feeders --- we have two, each in a different location --- every-other day. I'll likely fill 'em this afternoon, again, and then, not worry about it until the weekend. By then, I'll need more seed.

I probably won't be on the net, tomorrow. Just too much to do, and my spouse's brother coming up from the Bay Area, as well.
