Everone of our senators is a millionaire when they leave..our governors are millionairs, our congresspeople are corrupted by money.the special interests run this state and country....our system is broken but the tea bag crowd makes it worse with simplistic and oftentimes stupid slogns and policies...

A friend, a lawyer, has talked with both Brown and Poizner. He thinks Steve would make a better leader. He thinks Brown is a smart guy, but nuts. I'm an Independent with some liberal social views, but conservative financial ones. I'm voting for Steve because this state overspending snowball started by Reagan, which none of the other Governors after him even lifted a finger to stop, needs a conservative to handle the damage. Meg is another Arnold, in my opinion, and would be ineffective. I know Steve is a long shot, but he's the best candidate. He is the only candidate that gets it about illegal immigration.

two truly terrible choices-an ultra rich, non voting liberal republitard, or an older and wierder governor moonbeam, who did one of the worst jobs as governor in california history. cali is totally screwed- unless you're on welfare or an illegal, then you've got it made.

How did we go from "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" to "What will Govt do for me? " . It's a downright disgrace.

Correction....unless you are one of the 657,0000 millionaires in California who pay little or no taxes at all, while the media frenzy forcuses on immigrants, legal or illegal, and the happenings in other states....and overlooks the tax dodging and rewrtiting of tax laws that always favor the corportations and the rich....the illegals are even here in service to them....but, don't let the truth get in the way....

Let's see now, what do we want. A guy who really does care about the public or a woman who thinks like one of her ex -employeer goldman sacs and looks at the public as nothing more than someone to make a profit off of?

Well, not sure which guy you are referring to, but if it is Jerry Brown, he and his sister have strong connections to some of the worst of Goldman Sazchs practices....and Poizner is also carrying some of that....

Whitman is too good for California. We need Brown to serve the Unions at the direct expense of everyone and everything else if we are to be as pitiful as Calif. Democrats want our State to be. Whitman might do something to correct the massive, extinction level acts of Generational Theft which the Dem pols have inflicted on our kids and grand kids. California Democratic voters prefer to crush our own kids and grand kids possibilities of a chance at a bright future. Brown is plenty good enough.

Steve is the only candidate worth a nickel. The other ones mean more of the same. Meg is another Arnold; Brown is another Gray Davis.

As Governor, Brown proposed the establishment of a state space academy and the purchasing of a satellite that would be launched into orbit to provide emergency communications for the state—a proposal similar to one that would indeed eventually be adopted by the state. In 1978 an out-of-state columnist, Mike Royko, then at the Chicago Sun-Times, nicknamed Brown "Governor Moonbeam" because of the latter idea. In 1992, almost 15 years later, Royko would disavow the nickname, proclaiming Brown to be "just as serious" as any other politician.[

For Immediate Release: February 9, 2009 Contact: Tom Hudson Attached: Copy of the FPPC Complaint MEG WHITMAN FACES FPPC COMPLAINT FOR CAMPAIGN VIOLATIONS She Has Conducted Secretly-Funded Campaign For Months While Concealing the Source of Campaign Funds; No Required Disclosures Have Been Made Sacramento - A lengthy and carefully documented complaint was filed with the California Fair Political Practices Commission regarding Meg Whitman’s secretly funded campaign for Governor by Republican activist Tom Hudson, a member of the California Republican Lawyer’s Association. “I filed this complain because Meg Whitman has openly conducted her campaign for Governor for months. Her campaign has hired some of the most expensive political operatives in California, such as Jeff Randle, Steve Schmidt, Adam Mendelsohn, and Mitch Zak, while ignoring very clear California law that requires disclosure of the sources of her campaign funding. She has even used secret funds to engage in cyber bullying for her gubernatorial campaign, spending thousands of dollars, without public disclosure, to force the legitimate owner of “Megwhitmanforgovernor” to give up that domain name over to her. The Republican Party does not need a scoff-law rookie like Meg Whitman as their leader,” stated Tom Hudson. “Ms. Whitman is hiding the ball in order to gain political and economic advantage over more honest candidates, who are complying with their statutory obligations. It is amazing that she is running for the job of Governor, the chief enforcer of California laws, when she refuses to play by the rules,” said Hudson. The attached FPPC complaint details: The applicable laws that are being violated by Meg Whitman.(pp. 2-4, 10.) The names and the roles of the numerous campaign consultants that Ms. Whitman has openly hired and fired.(p. 4) The numerous media reports detailing the hiring and firing of these consultants.(pp. 5-10) The use of secret funds for campaign-related cyber bullying.(pp.6-8.)###

Jerry Brown is nothing but a puppet for the public employee unions that he in fact created when he was first governor. That's right, Jerry Brown is the reason that California is now held hostage to these lazy, self-serving union do-nothings. But Brown won't stop there. You will also get drivers licenses for illegals, free college tuition for illegals, a return to the out of control work comp system that cost millions of jobs, gay marriage, huge, huge tax increases if the Republicans lose their 1/3+ of the legislature and environmental rules that will chase off millions more jobs. But hey, it will be great times if you are on welfare! Vote for Jerry Brown because if you don't, the SEIU is going to have you killed.

Yes but the quicker we allow the democrats to drive the state into insolvency the quicker we can incarcerate the democratic pols for criminal collusion with the unions and move forward.
