The Corner Coffee Shop: The new NOTHING Thread

Good morning.

It's a Maker's Day.

Our daughter and I went shopping with Mother, yesterday. Today, we'll probably spend an hour or two clearing up the back yard. Although we've done some cleaning up, there are still a lot of leaves to be piled and cleared.

The kitties are frisky and full of themselves, today.

Beautiful weekend! Hubby and I had an anniversary over the weekend. Sunday he tossed me into the car about 9am and sped up the freeway to Napa. We spent the late morn and early afternoon wine tasting and enjoying the 80 degree weather. I was then tossed back into the car and we spent the evening at Bodega Bay watching the sun set and having a picnic dinner on the beach. Wow.

Sounds wonderful, what a nice weekend. My wife and I always enjoy a sunrise at Tahoe.

Well happy Anv to you.....sounds like you had a great time.Our Anv is today and with busy work week and son in school we will be heading off to San Diego this weekend for a bit of fun.Hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

TGIF! What a week! Everyone at work is sick and we've had a total collpase of staff. I'm doing a few different jobs and not especially happy about it. Thankful to have a job, but feeling a bit dumped on and having a personal pity party. Even still, too early for Mimosa's!!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend. I'm going into hibernation and unplugging all phones before I break them.

I wanna go to San Diego with Scrappy!!

URGGH!
Our daughter was supposed to be having an EEG, right about now.

We were early.
They were all set to take her back, then discovered
that one piece of paperwork had not been completed.

As THAT has to go somewhere else, before it can be
processed, we had to simply collect it, and leave.

I hope they can clear up the SNAFU quickly, and get this thing rescheduled. We also have to worry about an MRI, but that hasn't even been discussed, yet.

This is VERY frustrating.
Ah, well, one can hope that the weekend is wonderful and fulfilling.

If you caught the FOX Pre Game show they are filming from Afganistan and they featured a segment on the 33rd Expeditionary CSAR. The Jolly Green, which is Jesse's unit.

There may be more to come so I'll be watching the rest of the day...

Morning Fifth! Jesse is still stateside, in training. Currently at Kirtland AFB in New Mexico. His unit, however has been there since day one. He and some of the guys just had the H1N1 sweep through and pay a visit. The flight doc ordered them to quarters for 96 hours. He's feeling better now and playing catch-up on the book learning...

Baron and I had a brisk one this morning with the temps down in the low 40's. I don't do much walking in that kind of weather. Better to stay warm if you get moving and keep moving.

I hope that your daughter can get her needed proceedure done today or SOON and it has nothing but GOOD news in the results!!

Good morning Fifth. Yes, a bit of a nip in the air I must say. I like this time of year when when the trees lose all there leaves and they look stickly. Something about the bare tree against a gray sky that says it's Winter.
